Chapter 22: Prize[5]

As all were staring at the ancient hall filled with treasure as I also didn't move and waited for someone to move, as I made that decision from the corner of my view Layla came forward and made her way to Leon who was shocked with widened crystal blue eyes seemingly losing his composure for short time, as after making her way to the Leon she shake him gently as Leon came out of his stupor and quickly composed himself as he looked at Layla for a split second and diverted his attention back to the Hall of treasure.

Layla seeming anticipating this also turned to the hall of treasure with those still emotionless eyes.

As I watched this interaction I turned my gaze away from them and looked at the Hall of Treasure where some important things not known even to the world are kept and here I am to take one of those things, and of course, Leon will get that one of the things 'By Chance' because he trusted his feelings.

And also Elisa will also get that 'By Chance', and there is one more person who will get that with a feeling with their respective element.

As I was thinking I saw a person stepping forward, the first to take a step forward was of course Leon as he said voice booming in the vast Hall.

"NOW ALL GET OUT OF YOUR STUPOR AND START MOVING WE GOT A DAY TO CHOOSE THE PRIZE."

As the booming of his voice echoed through the hall all slowly woke out of their stupor and started to move.

All going their way to the different sections arranged in this seemingly grand hall of ancient treasure each one enticing enough to get caught by their sheer splendor.

As I watched the main cast going their ways one by one they made their way to the section they initially should have gone according to the novel, for now, nothing changed here according to the novel.

As I saw Leon finally after some contemplation making his way to the manual section after much contemplation and Elisa made her way to the skill section of the Treasure hall.

After watching all the main cast going their ways I lingered there for a few seconds and also made my way to the weapon area.

Large would be an understatement to describe the world within the treasury as I made my way in the grand hall littered with weapons in each shelf one impressive than another.

As i carefully observed each weapon to see the thing i was looking for i sqw many swords, spears, daggers, axes, war hammers, mace, etc.

All were rarther impressive and were made skillfully enough to call one in millions or more.

But there wasn't a single clue about the relic i was searching as i looked at every nook and cranny among the shelfs to see if the location has met the description in the novel.

As the description says in a place where eyes will land in their own a place surrounded by darkness where nothing but trash which are damaged are kept.

As i made my way through this treacherous hallway filled with weapon for what felt like 2 hours and not getting result finally something like a dark space seemed from afar who know's where that leads but was sure was unique.

As without lingering for a second i made my wat to that area.

After fifteen minutes of traversing thorugh this maze like structure i finally got to the dark place where at a first glance damaged things were kept.

As i made my way from the damaged relics all telling their own stories one seemingly ancient and one anew.

As i carefully observed every nook and cranny in this shelfs through my night vision i saw many things again, but nothing catched my eyes as I looked for the relic i have come for.

All were damaged relic but which i was looking for was different as i further made my way into the darknesss enshrouding the area, After walking deeper where even light have difficulty in reaching I finally felt something as i snap my head in the front direction from where i was seeing before, it was calling me, an ominously murderous aura reeking of blood.

Without lingering i navigated through the maze where i felt the murderous aura, you see the metal hand i have has one more quality, it made me sensitive to dark auras which reside in the darkest depth of the world.

So without doubting but still keeping my senses at max i made my way to the area where the ominous aura was coming from.

And there i saw the thing i was looking for, amidst all selves of damaged relics in the heart of this damaged relic shelfs ghere stood a aloof table which looked like a altar and atop it was a plain black lusterless coffin shrouded in the bubble like vault lonely placed at its throne, i knew when i saw this, 'This is it!.'

It absolutely matched the description from the novel, after lingering for a few seconds i made my way to it.

As i made my way to it at every step the aura grew dagerously pressuring but i didn't halt in my step for a second, as i made my way to it and inspected it further.

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK."

I knocked on it a few times and run around my finger through the bubble, unlike what it seemed from outside it was strong, not possible to even inflict scar on it for current me and i didn't even entertain the idea to try to destroy it.

After lingering for a few seconds i finally took out the key given by headmistress and inserted the key without hesitation.

For a few second nothing happened.

Then i remembered i have to insert mana in it to work, and i just did that through my hand i inserted the mana in the key inserted in the lock and finally key started to glow in dark blue and black fire as finally it started to vanish and with it the bubble also vanished.

And at the same moment a murderous aura stronger than ever hit me but i knew this was just the starting.
