Chapter 41: Kushika Uzumaki!
Just as Naruto put Karin, and his blood on the rock, the runes on the Rock lit and he heard Kurumi's voice.
'It's absorbing Natural Chakra.'
'Huh? You sure? They created a seal that could use Natural Chakra?'
'Yes, you will know later.'
After the whole boulder was covered by the runes, Naruto and Karin saw the runes lighting up and their vision darkened.
When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in a room.
Seeing this, Naruto tried to use Chakra in his body, and he found out that he couldn't use it, not to mention he couldn't even contact Kurumi.
'The Fuck? Where am I?'
Just like him, Karin also had a confused and scared expression as she looked around, and the only solace she had was Naruto's presence beside her.
"Uzumaki descendants, Welcome back to your ancestral land."
Hearing this, Naruto and a guarded expression as he tried to look around and sense something, but he didn't find anything. Nor did he know where the voice came from.
Then, they saw something appearing in front of them, and a red-haired lady materialised in the air.
"After hundreds of years of waiting, finally an Uzumaki Royalty appeared in Uzu."
"Who are you? What do you mean by hundreds of years?" Naruto said as he looked at the lady in front of him. With her red hair, he could guess her identity, but he couldn't sense her and he felt he is in an illusion.
'Wait! Illusion? Don't tell me...'
"Prince, what is your name? I am Kushika Uzumaki, the one who guides the descendant who come here, and before I died, I was in charge of the Secret Library of the Uzumaki Clan."
Naruto's expression changed as he heard her words.
"So, what are you now?"
"You don't seem surprised by my existence, and the fact that I said I died."
"It isn't surprising considering that seals could do anything. What I am curious about is what you meant by hundreds of years. I am sure that the Uzumaki clan was destroyed in between the Second and Third Great Shinobi War."
"Indeed, but that's the thing the whole world knows. Prince, I still didn't get your name, and the meek girl standing beside you."
"I am Naruto Uzumaki, she is Karin Uzumaki." Naruto said as he looked at Kushika and Karin. Karin was too shocked to speak, and only when Naruto introduced her, did she nod at Kushina.
Seeing this, Kushika chuckled and said, "It's been a long time since I saw a meek and gentle Uzumaki. You must have been a descendant of the Healing Branch member, right?"
Karin nodded as she thought of her mother's abilities. Though sadness passed in her eyes as she thought of her, and then she felt a pat on her head.
"Prince, be sure that protect this girl, Healing Branch members could be considered a rarity among Uzumakis, and even when I was alive, I had only seen four members."
Naruto smiled as he heard this and said, "Instead of calling me Prince, you can call me Naruto instead."
"As you wish," Kushika said and then they saw the surroundings changing, and the walls around the room changed to shelves full of library and three mattresses appeared on the floor.
"You two should sit down as it is going to be a long talk. Halfway, Karin, you will go and read the books in the place, as the things I am going to talk about can only be known by Royalty in the clan."
Saying this, Kushika sat down on the floor, and seeing this, Naruto also sat down, and then looking at them, Karin also sat down.
"Now, you can ask questions, and I will do my best in answering them."
"What is this place? Is this an Illusion World?"
"Yes, it is an Illusion World that uses Natural Energy to maintain itself. Even if hundreds of years pass in this world, no time will pass outside."
Naruto had a shocked expression as he heard this, and he didn't expect Uzumaki to develop an Illusion World like Tsukuyomi.
"How does it work?" He asked with an excited expression on his face seeing this, Kushika chuckled and said, "You can read the books regarding the Illusion later. For now, Please talk about other things."
Naruto nodded as he heard this, and then he looked at Karin and asked, "Do you want to ask anything or Should I take the lead?"
Karin's expression changed as she heard this, and then she asked in a small voice, "Can I know about the Healing Branch that you mentioned?"
"Hmm? What do you want to know about them?"
"If someone's vitality has been used for treating others, can they be healed?"
Hearing this, Kushika and Naruto's expressions changed. Kushika had a gloomy look as she understood what must have happened as even in her time, Healing Branch members were sought by everyone.
She looked at Karin, and then said, "There are two methods, no, maybe three. I did hear about a case like this in my time, so I think if you want to know about it, then you can read the books that were written by them."
"Really?" Karin asked in an excited voice as she heard this. Hearing her, Naruto also looked at Kushika with an excited expression and seeing this Kushika smiled and said, "Yes, You can go ahead and read these books. I and Prince Naruto will go and talk about other important things."
Many books started to float around Karin, and then she picked up one and started to read it.
Looking at this, Kushika waved her hand, and a barrier around her and Naruto was created, preventing any sound from going outside.
"Now we can talk about important things. Instead of explaining everything, let me show you the scene that happened in past."
Saying this, Naruto felt some memories appearing in his mind, and he found himself in a room with six people sitting in a circle with a world map on the table.
