Chapter 2: Chapter one.
"Wake up, Perseus."
Flashes of a sickly warrior in grey armor and a Ram horns. I saw a whirlwind of golden water and rocks. I heard screaming and howls of monsters. A crack of lightning "Wake up, Perseus" I heard again this time clearer and louder.
I saw a black twisted dagger that gave me a feeling of impending Doom with a green liquid. I heard the words "Die Perseus," a feeling of hate filled the very center of my being.
"Wake up!" I felt a force shake my consciousness. I saw a light at the end of a tunnel filled with mounds of golden powder with random animal body parts scattered throughout. I took a step forward, then another step, but a small black chain appeared around my ankle that every step became larger until I couldn't take another step then flashes of smiling woman in an apron with blue cookies. A girl with blond curls and a Yankees cap. Then, a boy with pale skin and dark skin in an Avators jacket. More visions of people flooded my view. I took another step, and then another once more until my hand touched the light. Something deep inside me told me all I needed was a single more step. I felt three more chains appear on my wrist and my other ankle. The chains started pulling me back to the darkness. I focused on my gut and started pulling. I felt my blood circulating my body, but it was thicker, stronger. I took control of it as my gut started burning, and it shattered, and a blast of golden energy smashed into the tunnel, pushing back the darkness and shattering the chains and I took the last step into the light.
my eyelids fluttered as sunlight flooded my vision as I surged upward as my vision pixelated. I stumbled. I put my arm out to catch myself.
"Finally awake, Perseus?"
I turned around and uncapped Riptide, pointing at the voice, which turned out to be three old ladies, which I remembered I was not very fond of.
"What did you do?" I said, raising my voice.
I'm still pointing my sword at them, and they stare at it unfazed.
"Besides being threatened at sword point?" The one the middle stated sassily.
"You dare you my powers against me?"
I said with theatrically before breaking our into laughter."Okay, seriously, why am I in a cave and what happened to the army heading to New Rome.
"Why you defeated single handling young Perseus"
Hmm, but there were like a gazillion monsters their and 3 Titans in that army.
"How?" I asked
"You underestimated your power back then,"
"What do you mean? Back then, "
"You've slumbered for three thousand years."
they stated in a weird version of twin speech
I stared dumbly at them, "Your Joking Right Haha Very funny joke right."
"No, Perseus, we are not joking,"
"But but I would be dead. I'm a mortal"
"Not anymore haven't been for nearly three thousand years."
"Since when?"
"Hynos, as a thank you for sparing his children, put you into a deep sleep to prevent you from scuming to the poison that Hyperion struck you with as a last resort. However, he did not expect it to take so long to take effect. "
"That's nice and all, but how does that explain how I'm immortal?"
"Were, Immortal The poison killed off all that made you a Mortal. The combined worship of the Greek, Roman, and even some Norse Demigods transitions you into what you are now a god"
"I'm a god, but I don't want to be one. I don't want to live forever or be unable to help or do anything."
The Fates intruputed my rant.
"precisely why you are the perfect choice to be a god. You are loyal to a fault. You do not seek power or wealth. You fight for your family regardless of their faults."
I'm shaking my head, trying to get rid of that awful
half a sleep feeling. Stroking the arch of my nose, "What am I god of?"
the fate on the right turned to the on ein the center "Should we tell him?" The one in the center said,"I don't know he has been quite rude," the one on the left stated."We should tell him he is our favorite cousin,"
They turned towards me, their eyes looked into
my very soul.
"All Hail Perseus, son of Poseidon and Sally

"Patron?"

The Egyptians moved back to the first Nome. The Norse, too, moved back to their homeland of Scandinavia. North America, which was broken into four divine Factions. The former
United States became territory of us Greek God's. The Native American Spirits took Canada and Alaska. The Remaining Aztec God's took Central America. The Caribbean became the territory of Caribbean gods, and their voodoo witches and the reawakened Immortalized Pirates. You know what? We'll beam the information into your head. "
A grey beam extended from their Hamds hitting my head. However, it was stopped, and I could feel my subconscious preventing it from entering. I contracted on lowering the mind shield around the beam, and I felt the information enter my brain.
From what the information told me, 75% of the minor gods had fallen in the rebellion of the more significant ones included. Nike, Aelous, Triton, Hebe, and Charon. Nico took over Charon's Duty, and Jason took over Nike and Aelous's duties.
"Oh, Perseus, their is some paperwork that you need to do"
Dread filled me as I looked for the exit.
"Easy Perseus, you just need to choose some basic godly symbols and such."
Calming down, I sat on the ledge "Okay, I'll do it, hit me,"
"Sacred animal?"
"Pegasi,"I stated quickly.
"Okay, any Idvidual creatures."
I thought for second remembering Miss O'Leary and my Loyal Pegasus Blackjack.
"Miss O'Leary the hellhound and Blackjack the Pegasus"
"Yes, We've taken care of Blackjack and Miss O'Leary for you," the one in the center said Simileing
"Alright, next one, Symbol?"
Holding out Riptide, I said, "My Sword Riptide."
"Any Sacred Foods or Flowers?"
Hmm... I remembered the moonlace flower that Calypso had given me and my mother's blue food.
"All Blue Food, and Moonlace"
"Hmm... We figured as much for the food, seeing as the Festival of Perseus everyone eats Blue food"
"You no this while god thing doesn't sound so bad now."
"All it took was a Festival of Blue food?"
"Yep,"
"Alright, that's all, oh and Perseus, make your way to your temple in New Athens." Then they disappeared in puff of blue smoke replaced by My
Hellhound, who was now roughly the size if a large Tank and Blackjack.
