<p>Short Story: There and Back<br/>At Present<br/> I woke up dazed and felt that all the bones and muscles in my body were being stretched and grinded. As my vision cleared, I found myself lying in a dense forest hidden behind bushes in the middle of a clearing. It was a warm and dazzling sight to behold. There were multi-colored plants, birds so beautiful and they had three heads in one body, the gold colored non venomous looking grass snake was also staring at my prone body on the rainbow colored field of grass, there was this sweet smelling flora surrounding me, there were edible like fruits that looked like grapes but instead of a a color green or purple its fruits were of rainbow color and I saw the three headed red and gold feathered bird including the golden snake feasting on them. As I sat up slowly, my ears detected the splashing of water which sounded like a waterfall. I slowly went towards that sound since I wanted to drink and fill my parched throat. Wow! The spring was amazing. The water was a crystal blue and the waterfall showed a rainbow colored water dripping from a high point, then as the water reached the spring it turned into the color of crystal clear blue. It was an ethereal experience. I then realized that I was no longer near my area which was on my polar research expedition with my team. I brought them there to investigate about a sudden volcanic activity underneath the ice in the north pole as reported by the resident Eskimos there which caused the fish to die, I was somewhere else, out of my known earth and home. <br/><br/>Previously<br/> I was a scientist and a well-known doctor, I also trained in martial arts, an excellent marksman, number 1 computer and hacker genius, and acrobatic combat personnel for the Armed Superior East Asia Intelligence Team (ASEAIT). My team led by me of course, would usually be assigned in dangerous warzone areas dealing with alien beings hostile to our world. Yes, I am a bonafide Top 1 rank Science Militia Expert (SME) as we are known in the year 3070. Earth which we knew in the 21st century is no longer the earth that most Gen Z people have ever known. There was a leak coming from the core of the earth and when most of the dormant volcanoes suddenly erupted in Asia all hell broke loose. What came out of these volcanoes was not only lava but fiery demons of alien origin that possessed the ability to burn the flora and fauna to ashes. And then recreate them in a smorgasbord of color and majestic aura to feed their species. It did not only aim to destroy earth but it wanted to populate it and take over. For them to survive, they needed to assimilate with the body of the humans. Humans who have been snatched and assimilated with them turned into beautiful Phoenix beings. Eyes the color of gold, hair a fiery red, skin as white as snow, they stand over 12 feet tall and have the ability to suppress their fiery elements and the ability to burn just with their touch and laser like beams coming out of their eyes. And they can shapeshift and fly. </p>
