Vol glanced at the man and his level. Level 15 – not bad. "Then you can come up," Vol said, pointing at that man. "I'll pay 2 golds for you, and you'll have your share of loot when I've finished my task."

"2 golds?" The man said, his voice betraying his eagerness – but then his natural greed crept in. "That's not enough for a man like me, make it 5!"

"I would, if you were stronger," Vol said. "Any man of interest who can knockdown Vagrin here will be given 5 golds. The rest will have to settle for what they're given."

The man fumed at that, and stomped his foot. "You have no idea how strong I am!" He was well dressed, well armoured and well groomed. He certainly looked strong. He had a fearsome scar across his face that throbbed red with his rage, but the fact remained that he wasn't worth any more than what Vol had offered him. He was barely worth that.
