Chapter 40: Annabelle and Sherly’s clash

Annabelle left the kitchen in a state of anger,she couldn't understand why Sherly would have the audacity to fire the chef without consulting her first. As the lady of the house, Annabelle felt that she should have had a say in such matters. She stormed out of the kitchen and made her way towards Sherly's room, determined to get an explanation for her actions.

As Annabelle reached Sherly's door, she took a deep breath to calm herself. She didn't want to start a fight, but she needed to find out why Sherly thought it was acceptable to make decisions without her approval. Annabelle knocked on the door, waiting patiently for a response. However, there was none. She knocked again, growing more frustrated by the second.
