Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Grouping up
"Huff huff. I somehow managed to escape them." Felix muttered to himself as he is inside a ruined building.
It was difficult but he had somehow managed to run fast enough to escape the pursuing skeletons as he took a breather to calm himself. He then looked around the area and was glad to see that no enemies were there. He carefully got out of his hiding spot and started to run as he kept a lookout for his surroundings.
'If I could use my magic circuits. I didn't activate them.' Felix thought to himself as he ran.
He made sure to be as quiet as he could as he made his way through Fuyuki. He needed to find Mash as she is the only one amongst the two of them who stood a chance against the enemies. And he really didn't want to meet any of the altered Servants.
He was silently making his way until he came across another group of skeletons causing him to freeze as his eyes widened in shock and surprise. The skeletons meanwhile ran towards him to attack him with their weapons as he took a step back as he has a face of fear.
'If only I could activate my circuits and use reinforcement.' Felix thought to himself as he looked at the coming enemies.
The memory of the circuits activating in anime appeared in his mind due to his thinking and soon he also thought about it happening.
'Reinforcement. I just want to use reinforcement!' Felix thought to himself in fear.
Then to his surprise his circuits lit up as they appeared all over his body.
"My magic circuits are activated? How? No, I should be using this." Felix said in realisation.
'Reinforcement!' Felix thought to himself as he imagined his skin, blood vessels, bones, tendons and muscles getting denser.
The circuits glowed with Od as he felt the energy doing its work. He saw a skeleton come towards him with a spear which he managed to dodge due to it attacking a bit clumsily. He reeled his fist back and grit his teeth. It didn't have a form and anyone could see that he didn't have any training in the physical arts. He then sent the punch which hit the skeleton on its face as it destroyed it.
"Yes! Oh no." Felix said happily before realising that his fist went too far.
He kneeled managing to evade the sword slash before he rolled back and hastily got up. He looked around and saw some debris which he managed to pick up due to his enhanced strength before he threw it at the skeletons. The debris destroyed the skeletons as he smiled at it before he took more debris and kept on throwing them. It also helped that the debris also blocked the arrows that were sent by the skeletons.
He kept on throwing the debris on the skeletons until all of them were destroyed. Though he kept on throwing some more before he realised that the skeletons have been destroyed.
"Oh, great then." Felix said in realisation before he started running again.
As he ran in the city he heard the sound of fighting as he stopped before turning and running in that direction. He soon found Mash fighting and destroying a group of skeletons in black and purple female armor alongside a shield.
"Mash!" Felix called out to her after she was done fighting.
"Senpai. You're okay." Mash said happily when she saw him.
"You're okay." Felix said in relief.
Even though he knew this would happen he is nonetheless happy that she is fine.
"You're wearing armor now." Felix said as he looked at her armor.
"Yes senpai. I got this from the Servant inside me. Ah, it might be a bit confusing to hear but I can explain it to you." Mash said to him when she realised that what she is saying might be confusing to him.
But they weren't able to talk more because they heard the sound of screaming and it reminded them of a girl. Felix's eyes widened when he heard the scream.
'Olga? But she was alive? How is she here?' Felix thought to himself in shock.
"Senpai! Someone is in danger!" Mash said to him with a serious tone.
"I noticed. Let's go." Felix said to her as he decided to think after dealing with the current situation.
"Ah, before that, I want to make a contract with you senpai." Mash said to him.
"A contract?" Felix parroted as he was surprised by it.
"Yes senpai. It's a Master-Servant contract between a Master and a Servant. I would give more information but this isn't the time." Mash said to him in seriousness.
"Okay. I'm fine with it." Felix said to her immediately.
'I know what a contract is but I was surprised that she would ask me at a time like this.' Felix thought to himself.
Then they made the contract as a command spell appeared on the back of his right hand as he winced a bit from the burning sensation. But he was surprised when he saw the command spell as it isn't one that he had seen.
'Must be because I'm a different person.' Felix thought to himself as he looked at it.
His command spell is divided into 3 parts, a large blade in the upper section, three large wings connected in mid section and one small blade at the bottom section. A unique command spell if he were to say so himself as he liked the intricate design as well. (I'll put the image here but for those who want to search, just type Fate command spell seraphim and it alongside the other fan-made command spells will he shown. Thanks to the ones for making the command spells.)
"Let's go senpai." Mash said to him.
"Right." Felix said with a nod.
Then the two ran towards the sound of the voice as some explosions voice could be heard as well. At the place Olga is running away from a group of skeletons as she was cursing her luck.
"Why does things like this keep on happening to me!?" Olga shouted out as she ran.
But she then tripped and fell on the ground before she turned around and looked at the enemies approaching.
"You! I'll show you what I can do!" Olga said before she raised her hand and started to shoot Gandr at them.
But their numbers were too many and they were gaining on her as she grew worried.
"Lev. Where are you? I need your help." Olga said feeling helpless at the amount of enemies.
Then she spotted one skeleton on top of a lamppost as it was ready to pounce on her. And it would've if a ball of mana didn't hit it and sent it flying surprising Olga. Her surprise grew when Mash suddenly appeared and started to destroy the enemy skeletons with ease as Olga watched her dumbfounded.
"Director Olga. Are you okay?" Felix asked as he reached her.
"Huh. No. 49." Olga said surprised and a bit relieved.
"The name is Felix. It looks like we were right on time." Felix said as he looked at Mash.
Olga also looked at the girl as she easily dispatched the skeletons in front of them before only their remains were left as said girl took a few moments to collect herself. Then she ran to the two and stood in front of them and looked at Olga who flinched a bit.
"I'm glad we made it on time. It looks like you are fine director." Mash said as she looked at the director.
"Ye-Yes I'm fine." Olga said as she stood up.
She then removed the dirt from her dress before looking at Mash.
"Mash, what is happening here? What is with that attire and how were you able to fight like that?" Olga asked the girl.
"I don't clearly know the details. But before we Rayshifted the Servant which was provided to Chaldea beforehand he gave me a contract. In exchange for his skill, I have to take care of this singularity." Mash said to her.
"But why now?" Olga said to herself as she contemplated the answer.
"I think it would be best for us if we find someplace to hide or we can contact Chaldea." Felix said to her when he saw her behaviour.
"Right. You don't have to tell me that. We just need to find a leyline." Olga said to him.
"Um, director Olga. You're standing on top of it." Mash said to the director.
"I-I knew that. Now put your shield here and we can contact Chaldea." Olga said flustered at her blunder.
Mash complied and placed her shield on top of the leyline and Olga got to work as Felix watched them work as he kept an eye on his surroundings.
