Chapter 60: “New captains”
"I will present Ivankov and Kuma for the position of leader of two divisions, I guess 3 and 4" said Dragon.
*That's good* thought Yamamoto as he tried hard not to smile.
Most would think this is a competition between him and Dragon to see who becomes Commander General of the Revolutionary Army, but Yamamoto doesn't see it that way.
In this way he devised to compete against Dragon he will be able to complete his new secondary mission without so much difficulty, as Dragon will strive to bring powerful people, even though he will do it too, he won't have to do everything alone.
"Well, in the evaluation of their abilities, they should demonstrate that they can use observation and armament haki" said Yamamoto clarifying a little, how the future division leaders would be evaluated.
"Sounds good to me, all marine vice admirals should know how to use both haki" nodded Dragon.
"I presented Saul as the leader of division 5" said Yamamoto.

"I have a place in mind" Yamamoto said as he stood up and walked to the door of the house.
He would take them to where he trained his devil fruit skill, it was a few minutes away from the village and it was a suitable ground to see a person's skills, but first, he went to find Saul as he was also nominated for the position of captain of one of the divisions.
The large cave that Saul used as a home was about 10 minutes away from the village, when they arrived they could see that besides the giant, there were Ramses and the other ex-slaves training.
There were also Ralph and the other ex-Marines doing the same, while Saul was giving them directions.
"Oh hello, Yamamoto and everyone else!" said Saul somewhat surprised to see so many people.
"What brings you guys here?" asked Saul curiously.
"Hello, Saul. Follow us on the way I will tell you" greeted Yamamoto.
Saul nodded he said a few words to his "students" and started to follow Yamamoto and the others, he knew this was serious.
"Mr. Yamamoto wait!" said Ralph as he got up from the ground and approached Yamamoto.
"What's wrong?" asked Yamamoto as he turned around.
"W-what are we going to do about the Lego situation...?" asked Ralph steeling himself.
*I forgot about that...* thought Yamamoto.
"Once I'm done with some business, there will be a meeting in the library, stay tuned" replied Yamamoto, he knew there was no choice but to make a trip in search of a doctor if he wanted to save Lego.
At first, he would not do such a thing, as it would be too dangerous, however, Lego showed loyalty to him and sacrifices himself to save Olvia and the others. Also, if he shows indifference he may lose the respect of Ralph and the others.
This would not bother him before, but now the more people follow him the more merit points he will earn per month, so he does not want this to happen.
"Fine, thank you" Lego said as he walked back to his companions.
On the way, Yamamoto resumed to Saul the meeting they had a short while ago with Dragon and the others. And that he introduced him to the division leader position, so he will have to prove his strength.
Saul was very surprised to hear that they created an army to overthrow the World Government and also a nation, but more surprised when he was given the position of division leader.
As Yamamoto was the one who introduced him, he accepted without hesitation. Ever since he saw the injustices committed by the World Government and the Marine obeying its orders, he had always had the desire to be part of a large movement that would try to overthrow such an authoritarian regime.
Finally, they arrived at the site, "Ivankov you go first, you can hit those big stones" said Dragon.

"You still don't know what haki is, later I will teach you in a more detailed way since you will be one of the captains of the 13 divisions" replied Yamamoto.
"In short, haki is a force possessed by all creatures in the world, only most humans do not know this power. There are 3 types of haki: observation, armament, and conqueror. The one Ivankov is using is the armament haki" explained Yamamoto quickly.
"What will I be a division captain!?" asked Tesoro only keeping that part of the information.

Ivankov's blow destroyed the gigantic stone completely without any difficulty.

Ivankov made a grimace which he quickly hid, "Hohoho okay Dragon, be nice" he said with a somewhat nervous smile.
Dragon without a word threw a stone at full speed straight at Ivankov's head.
At the last second Ivankov managed to move his head and narrowly dodged the stone that was going at an incredible speed. Without giving him a break, Dragon threw 3 more stones at the same time.
Ivankov managed to dodge the stones at the last second, his eyes were still closed, however, some of them grazed his cheeks and left a small line of blood, "I said be nice!" shouted Ivankov indignantly.
"I was" said Dragon as he threw the last stone that took a bit of Ivankov's hair out.
"Both haki with good level" nodded Yamamoto approving Ivankov's strength.
"Well done, you are now the captain of the 3rd division, congratulations" said Dragon.
"Yes, thank you!" exclaimed Ivankov with a smile as he opened his eyes and returned to the others.
'I have to learn that... the stones Dragon threw had more velocity than a bullet and yet Ivankov was able to dodge them with his eyes closed' thought Tesoro with his mouth open.

*What?* thought Yamamoto in surprise as he read the system message, he didn't expect such a thing.
A slight smile formed on Yamamoto's face, this way he would get 10 skill points and 1000 merit points, as there were still 10 divisions left. He doesn't know if he will earn rewards when he and Dragon take the position of 1st or 2nd division captain.
On second thought, it would be strange if the system doesn't give him some reward, as getting such a powerful person to follow you is not an easy thing.
*With Kuma and Saul I will get 2 skill points and 200 merit points more* thought Yamamoto with a smile.
Then followed Kuma who did not make as much show as Ivankov, in addition to the haki of armament and observation, he demonstrated his devil fruit power.

His observation haki was his weakest point, as a giant he was somewhat clumsy, however, he knew the fundamentals, so he passed the test with ease.
Since the Revolutionary Army has just been created, the test should not be so complicated, nor with so many steps to follow. In the future when your bases are more solid you will be able to make a more elaborate evaluation.
