Chapter 11: Becoming a vampire
(3rd Person Pov)
The Cullen's are sitting at a table talking to Carleen about Vincent. " Wait what he has powers"Carleen asks.
" Yea he can control fire it's so cool" Alice says giddily. "He is quite handsome I must say" Esme says looking at Carleen with a smile.
"Really"Carleen asks her wife with a raised eyebrow. " Yeah and his eyes are so" Alice replies before going silent from receiving a vision.
A moment later the vision stops and she starts panicking which the others notice. Edythe starts panicking as well getting up and starts pacing around with a worried look.
Their reactions get the other Cullen's worried causing jasmine to ask her girlfriend "What's wrong Alice" she asks looking at her.
"It's Vincent he's in trouble" she responds. This response makes the other Cullen's fly up from there seat " What do you mean in trouble" jasmine asks with a frown now worried for her mate. Alice goes to answer but edythe does it before her.
" A vampire is hunting him down we have to go now before it kills him" she says getting the other Cullen's alarmed. "What how did we not smell him" Emily asks in confusion.
"Let's worry about that later we have to go now" Alice speaks up before running out the door followed by the rest of her family. While they are running they realize that they would have to go into the shifters territory to save him but they didn't seem to care they just sped up hoping to reach there before something bad happens to him.
( We switch pov to the mc)
Vincent has his back against a tree looking at the bloodsucker Infront of him. "Tired are we now" the vamp says while laughing and slowly walking forward.
"While the chase was fun it's time for you to die before those wet dogs reach here" the vamps says while looking at vincent. Suddenly Vincent disappears startling the vampire.
" Where did you go" the vamp asks looking around cautiously before swinging his hands behind him chuckling " I might not be able to see you and I don't know how you did it but I can still smell you" he says while running towards a tree before he loses his legs from a sudden wave of fire burning it off and cauterizing it at the same time causing him to howl out in pain not expecting it.
Vincent reappears with fire now on his hands. He walks up to the now crippled vampire and kneels beside him putting his hands on his stomach. The fire disappears from his hands and is instead replaced by a dark swirl which spreads all over the vamps body causing him to scream in agony.
The vampire soon disappears into the darkness. It seems to have not only absorbed the vampire but it also changes Vincent. His eye color changes and he grows fangs. He However quickly changes them back to how they were. ( His body still works like a human because he wasn't turned but with all vampire abilities like there tough skin, enhanced sense etc)
He runs to a tree and punches it breaking it in half . "Well that's cool it's time to get out of here though"
He turn to leave but he hears a growl behind him he snaps his head around and sees three shifters standing Infront of him. They just stare at him growling. The two smaller wolves turn to look at a bigger black wolf seemingly waiting for permission. He let's out a growl and they charge at Vincent.
The black wolf leads the charge and jumps at Vincent followed by the other two however Vincent slaps the black wolf in it's face sending it flying back the other two wolves stop temporarily to look in it's direction to see if it's okay. They see it rebound and charge back so they turn there head back to Vincent to continue the assault but suddenly the Cullen's arrive which causes the wolves to pause there movements.
Then a stare down ensues between them before the black wolf let's out a howl and turn back followed by the other two. Seeing this the Cullen's quickly grab Vincent and turn around running to leave the shifters territory.
They arrive back at the Cullen's house and rosalie who was carrying Vincent puts him down. A stare down starts between them as well before they are interrupted by Alice and edythe running up to Vincent to check on him.
"Are you okay" they ask in unison. "He gives a nod " yeah I'm good I'm a vamp now though " he says. "He turned you" asked Carleen.
"No my fire seemed to have adopted a new ability when it became black it absorbed him and his abilities" He said. " So that's why you smell like a vamp but your hearts still beating" asked jasmine he gives a small nod.
"Wait so you have all the abilities of a vampire but you kept your human features this doesn't make any sense" says emily which gets Vincent to shrug.
" How did you even end up in that situation anyway" Jasmine asks. "Well" he proceeds to give a run down of what happened.
" We'll have to have a meeting with the quileute tribe to explain why we were on their territory and I'm sure they will want you dead now because you struck their alpha" Carleen says.
"It was self defense" he starts " and I'm guessing you're mommy number two" he says getting her to nod " I'm Carleen Cullen the leader of this coven and as you said mommy #2 and Esme wife" she says to him.
"Well we'll have to train you" Esme says getting vincent to look at her asking" why".
"Well you'll have to learn to control your abilities so you don't hurt someone by accident and learn to fight so you can fend of other supernatural because I'm sure because of your special predicament you'll attract trouble hell you probably already did from the shifters " Esme explains.
He gives a nod before feeling someone touch his shoulder he turns around and sees alice " but don't worry whatever comes after you they will have to go through us first" she says giving him a smile then hugging him.
He hugs her back and look at the other Cullen's who also give him a smile and nod their heads to support her statement he gives them a smile back.
