Chapter 5: katsuo Vs marines
As Katsuo's eyes fluttered open, he found himself surrounded by a menacing circle of marines. Unfazed by the situation, he smirked at the sight before him.
"Oh! Seems like I'll have some fun right after waking up. Don't disappoint me," Katsuo taunted, relishing the thrill of the impending battle.
"Who are you? Guess it doesn't matter, as you're going down today," the marines responded, their voices laced with determination and aggression.
"Bwahahah... I am Katsuo, and I would love to see you try to beat me," Katsuo proclaimed, his confidence unwavering.
In an instant, Katsuo sprang into action, leaping into the crowd of marines, their expressions turning to surprise at his speed and agility.
"Huh, when did he get here?" the marines muttered, trying to keep up with Katsuo's swift movements.
With a spinning kick, Katsuo dispatched one of the marines effortlessly. However, the remaining marines weren't about to back down.
They charged at him simultaneously, but to their astonishment, Katsuo nimbly dodged every attack.
"Hahha, is this all you've got? I'm disappointed. I was expecting more. Try harder... TRY HARDEERRR!" Katsuo goaded, a devilish glint in his eyes.
His taunts only fueled the marines' determination, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't lay a finger on the elusive pirate.
Katsuo continued to showcase his prowess, kicking and knocking down several marines with ease.
He cracked his neck, showing no signs of fatigue, and declared, "The playtime is over."
In one swift motion, Katsuo picked up a sword that had fallen during the chaos. With deadly precision, he slashed through the marines like a hot knife through butter.
Blood dripped from the blade as Katsuo effortlessly dispatched his opponents, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
With a fierce glint in his eyes, he put the bloodied sword down and seized one of the marines, holding him tightly.
"So sad that you'll die here today. I don't know how a weakling like you thought you could beat me, you government dogs. Hahaha, now die," Katsuo sneered, his words dripping with contempt.
One by one, he dispatched the remaining marines, leaving no room for mercy.
As the last of them fell to the ground, Katsuo stood amidst the carnage, his breath steady, and a sinister smile playing on his lips.
"Tch, you guys weren't even fun. You're all weaklings. I didn't know the marine powers sucked this much," Katsuo taunted, his confidence soaring to new heights.
The townspeople, who had watched the battle unfold in horror, were left in shock.
They couldn't fathom how a single pirate had decimated an entire group of marines effortlessly.
"All the marines of this town are dead... A single pirate killed them all. How can he be this powerful?" the people whispered in fear and disbelief.
Katsuo, undisturbed by the spectacle he had just created, began to laugh boisterously.
But suddenly, a growl emanated from his stomach, reminding him of another pressing matter.
"Grwwwww, oh, it seems I'm hungry now. Time to go and eat," Katsuo declared nonchalantly, his focus now shifting to satisfying his insatiable appetite.
As he sauntered toward the nearest restaurant, the townspeople were paralyzed with fear, wondering if the fearsome pirate before them was more than just a human – perhaps a monster in human form.
The island had never seen such a display of power, and the legend of Katsuo, the fearsome and merciless pirate, began to spread far and wide.
The mere mention of his name sent shivers down the spines of those who dared cross his path.
With a trail of destruction behind him and a hunger for more, Katsuo's reputation as a force to be reckoned with grew stronger.
