Chapter 7: Boss battle
Ten Rabbit meals later and I am back at my tree to get some rest before the main battle against the giant rabbit. Only difference is that I am sleeping wrapped around the base of the tree because I have grown so much that I don't fit up the tree anymore. Soon after my eyes drift shut from the exhausting day that I have had.
I wake up a short while later and open up my status looking forward to the growth that I will have experienced from eating the rabbits.

While I am still extremely happy with the growth I experienced I cant help but notice that it is less than yesterday's eventhough I ate more rabbits this time. I guess I can assume that either the more I consume of a certain creature the less I grow or maybe that as I get stronger I need to consume stronger creatures as well.
I move on from that train of thought for now as it is not pertinent at the moment and close my status screen. I decide to leave my assignable stat points alone for now because I feel like I will be strong enough to fight the boss as i am now. And if I then need a sudden increase in a certain stat i can boost it at that time.
With all of my preparations done I finally slither onwards to go confront the boss bunny and hopefully escape this place.
I slither past a group of two bunnies on my way to their boss. and While I am eating them I can't help but notice that my head is probably about one and a half bunnies tall instead of only being just as tall as a single bunny like it was before.
This Is pretty awesome as I am now probably about 30 centimeters tall and 14 meters long.
I Crest the top of the same hill that I had climbed yesterday and look down into the valley below at the giant bunny hopping around freely.
With a sinister grin on my face I slither down the hill towards the bunny. I wind my way between the few trees that block my path and launch at the bunny with my fangs bared.
To my utter horror the boss bunny seems to have a sixth sense as it spins around in a flash and kicks me in the face causing me to soar backwards through the air with my fangs only leaving a pitiful scratch on the bottom of its foot.
In an instant I reenter the battle. And launch myself towards the boss again except this time I strike with a plan. When the bunny moves to kick me in the face again I latch onto its foot sinking my fangs deep into its ankle. The boss starts flailing around trying to knock me off but I quickly start wrapping up and around the rabbits body until it is completely covered.
Then with focused determination I start squeezing inwards as hard as I can trying to end this fight once and for all. But the boss is having none of this and rams himself straight into a tree causing me to let go before i get squished into a meat paste.
I am just starting to recover when the boss charges at me once more sending me flying away. This time when I recover and see the boss running towards me I slither to the side and climb up one of the bigger trees in the area that can still support my weight.
This ends up causing the bunny to ram straight into the base of the tree making it dazed and unfocused. I take the small gap and leap down onto the bunnies neck and sink my fangs in once more. I then tighten around the bosses neck until a satisfying snap resonates throughout the area.
The boss collapses limply to the ground and I slither weekly off. The boss having damaged me pretty significantly with some of its attacks. Thankfully I have a pretty decent regen stat and so I start feeling better pretty soon afterwards.
Suddenly a notification appears in front of my eyes causing me to jerk back in shock.
