Chapter 5: Chapter 4/ 4 vs 1
NEXT DAY

In a forest, a young man with long silver hair is seen performing a dance with a spear.
The young man is none other than Noah.
He has spent the last few hours thinking about the best way to use the spear.
Noah spent the night chasing demons, accumulating some kill points in the process.
Not only this, his progress in spear mastery has also increased.
Compared to his sword mastery, this one was easier to advance.
Maybe the reason for this is that he killed more demons in one single night than he did during his whole time in the DxD world.
After training, Noah decided to take a look at his progress.

In order to move up one rank, he has to fight a stronger opponent first.
As for his kill points?
During the night he has killed 8 low-rank demons, each giving one point.
He put the kill points into [Qi Absorption: 10/minute [LV1(2/10)] which he upgraded into [Qi Absorption: 20/minute [LV2(0/20)].
During the next hours he cultivated in a cave that he found last night.

A couple of hours later, he stopped because he heard something from outside.

Meanwhile, he heard a ringing inside his head, which he decided to ignore.
As he started to leave, he noticed 4 demons in front of his cave.
The demons consisted of a big fat one with bald head, a smaller one with normal shaped body, a well built demon with 3 eyes and one that seemed to be the leader of the demons as he looked down on the other 3.
If this wasn't a demon world, this might be a typical Young Master and his lackeys.
As the first one was in sight, Noah immediately used [Inspect] on the Demons.

The fat one was a typical low-level demon.
`Without skills or blood art, he is likely only be able to fight with pure strength.`
Thought Noah directly.
This made him harmless because he couldn't do anything to Noah's body with it.
Nevertheless, Noah decided to keep an eye on him even without blood art.
Since the 4 demons appeared like a team, there was a possibility that he could do something independent of blood art.

Similarly, the smaller one also lacks a blood art.
`Hm? A weak body without blood art? No wonder he's only a low-level Demon,` Noah thought.
Noah immediately chose to look at the three-eyed Demon beside him.

`Oh, C Rank? What can this third eye do?` Noah thought with some interest.
If it was only D rank, Noah would think that it was just for better vision, however, a C rank blood art should have more capability.
`Perhaps he can shoot out a beam?`
Noah decided he needed to pay closer attention around him.
The last and suspected leader was actually the most powerful, and possessed a dangerous blood art. [Leaf Manipulation.]

Even though Noah was clearly stronger than all 4 of them combined, he didn't even consider taking them lightly.
After all, Noah had already seen the consequences of underestimating your opponent.

`A cave?`
Noah decided to take a closer look at the cave.

After closer examination, Noah discovered a second exit at the back of the cave.
He sealed this exit with some branches that would inform him when another living creature or person entered through the rustling of the branches.

As the demons approached him, Noah chose to fight inside the Cave.
There, he would be protected from the blood art of their leader.
Since the Cave was not the largest, the Demons would have hardly any chance to dodge.
"You're dead, human," Noah heard them say as the fat one rushed at him.
"Stop" shouted the smaller member of the group in order to stop the fat demon, however, any help came too late for him.
`So the little one is their brain?` Noah thought immediately.
The reason the little guy wanted to call his fellow back was that he noticed Noah taking out his spear.
Usually you would think it's normal to not attack somebody who has a weapon.
However, most demons are too arrogant and don't see humans as a threat.
Therefore, Noah thought that the small one in the group had a little more intelligence or simply common sense.
"Damn," the little demon cursed as he saw the head of his fellow Demon roll.
The leader of the group reacted quickly, and decided to escape from the cave to fight outside in his Hood.
The three-eyed one said "Lucky! He just wasn't prepared I'll kill you bastard" as he ran towards Noah.
Noah was glad that the three-eyed demon was so arrogant, since he could take out another one.
Just before the three-eyed man stood in front of him, Noah decided to jump against the ceiling of the cave, which turned out to be a good decision, because the place where Noah stood before was nothing more than a hole.
`As I thought`
`He can shoot a beam out of his third eye.`
Noah decided to act directly and used his feet to push himself off the ceiling as he flew headlong past the demon, severing his head cleanly.
When Noah looked for the small demon, he was no longer in sight.
Noah was now in a dilemma.
`Should I follow them?` Noah thought carefully.
If he followed them, he would be walking right into a trap.
Noah decided to look at his system message first.
[New Skill:] [6th Sense(C)]
[6th Sense: Increases the ability to sense the environment.]
When Noah saw the skill, an idea occurred in his mind.
POV Change
"Is he following us?" the leader of the group asked the smaller one.
"I don't think so," replied the smaller one.
"The best thing is to wait until he comes out," decided the leader.
"Are you sure boss? The human was defenetively strong. You have your ability, but we don't know if you can kill him with it."
"If necessary, I'll lock him up with my leaves and we'll get out of here."
"Ok boss" said the little Demon as he focused on the cave.
*sssss*
Blood splattered on the little Demon, and as he turned around he was shocked to see that his boss no longer had a head.
"What?" was the last thing he said in shock as his head also flew.
Flashback 5 minutes cave.
When Noah tried his new skill, he was shocked to see that he could feel 2 signatures on a tree outside the cave.
When he felt these two sigantures he decided to take the back entrance and attack the demons from behind.
Once Noah was outside the cave, he took a further distance to avoid being sensed by the demons.
When he was close to the demons, he pushed himself off a tree and the moment the leader turned around, he cut his head off in midair.
After landing and splashing blood on the small demon, Noah turned around only to find a shocked look on the demons face as the he said "what?"
That was the last thing he could say.
Noah decided to go back to the cave and check out his reward.

As Noah sat down, he muttered "status" to himself.
[Demon killed +1] [Demon killed +1] [Demon killed +5] [Demon killed +10]
`So low rank demon give 1, mid rank 5 and high rank 10 kill points?`
`I'm looking forward to Lower and Uppermoons.`
Noah also noticed that the points in each world are calculated separately.
[Spear Mastery Intermediate(D)(6%)]
[Kill points: 18]
His spear mastery has gone up in rank.
Noah noticed that his knowledge about spear art has gone up nicely.
He didn't spend the kill points for the time being since he didn't want to level the Passive Qi Absorption for the time being because it wasn't worth it.
Since it's at night, Noah decides to farm a few kill points.
