When Xavier saw the conditions required to learn Night Slash, he realized where he needed to allocate most of his points.
Determined to use the attack, Xavier decided to learn swords in the physical training class. He had always admired characters who wielded swords in battles, and now that he had the opportunity, he was eager to learn the art of swordsmanship.
He used 100 points to increase his strength and the remaining 400 points to boost his intelligence. With his new stats meeting the conditions, he clicked on the TM: Night Slash and saw that it could be learned. Upon clicking "Yes," memories flooded into his head, making him feel as if he could now use the attack .
