Chapter 15: Chapter 14: The USJ Continues
(Inari POV)
Long fingernails reached toward my nose. I jumped back and reverted to my human form. My instincts were telling me that if she touched me the fight was over.
It figures that my being in the My Hero Universe may bring changes to the villain group, but something just felt wrong about Evellyn.
Evellyn licked her lips, "Look at you, aren't you scrumptious? Why don't you come a little closer, I can give you the time of the rest of your life." She launched herself at me again, her fingernails scratched a long line across my face but most of her attack missed.
"Awe that won't be enough." Her voice was seductive and pulling. I quickly healed the cut with some of the stamina I had stored, and the pull immediately went away. "Playing dirty, aren't we? I'm sure you figured it out, I will make you mine, everyone I harm just falls in love with me." She writhed at her own words, giving herself a sensual hug, letting her hands flow down her body.
"You're sick, you know that? You look drunk on that feeling. How many people have you 'eaten' in your own words?"
"Oh Lady Nataka, quite quick to judge. I figured you of all people would know that this doesn't make me a villain. All the people I use my quirk on want it. I know they do; they all scream under me. Your own words were that heroes do things for others. That is exactly what I am doing."
What a way to twist my own words. "I know that I'm a public figure so recognizing isn't all that special but how did you know that I would be here?"
She gave me a wide grin. "I knew you would be fun, that's why I joined this little 'party.' I just had to meet my hero. I stalked the new hero page waiting for your license to pop up and watched the public job records to see where you were employed. The guys that love me really would do anything for me. Then this little group came along, and I found out they would be raiding UA and I just had to join. I just want to make you mine. Won't you be mine Inari?"
She looked far too pleased with herself.
"I'm sure that with the way your thinking, me saying no just seems unfathomable, but sadly, you aren't my type."
I launched myself at her reinforcing my body with a solid layer of stamina so that she couldn't harm me or even touch me.
Her image of me had created her twisted sense of villainy. I didn't think my own words could be twisted in such a way. It was my job to defeat what I created.
Her speed must have come from the obvious mutation of hers. She resembled a succubus from religious mythos so letting her make contact with me was a bad idea.
Her strikes were quick and precise, poking at the weakest parts of my shields but never able to break them. I shoved away to create distance, but fighting up close wasn't working. I pulled stamina from the downed villains forming it into an orb of pure stamina and began throwing it like a boomerang. Pushing and pulling on it trying to drain her stamina away.
She was slowly slowing down but it wasn't enough, I didn't need to worry about tiring, but I did need to worry about my students. We traded a few more blows before a loud pop resounded through the courtyard.
Midoriya had just launched a 100% power punch at the Nomu after defending Tsuyu from Shigaraki, the fight would be ending here soon.
Nomu rushed back towards Aizawa and dragged his face through the concrete and Midoriya, like the heroic idiot he was jumped in, and broke both his arms to defend Eraserhead. Tsuyu quickly pulled him to safety.
Evellyn and I traded blows for longer. She was struggling with her approach due to the high projectile volume that I was slinging around. I threw foxfire and orbs preventing her from nearing, but it was enough, I needed to cripple Nomu and her at the same time if this fight was going to end.
"You have quite the resolve beautiful. Only if you could resolve yourself to me, wouldn't that be amazing?"
I shot her a glare and pulled. I pulled everything I could reach. The downed villains and as much as I could from Evellyn, Shigaraki, and the Nomu. It was time to end this.
Handling so much energy was volatile, but I had to defend everyone.
"This ends now. GREAT SPIRIT WAVE"
Energy burst in 360 degrees. A large wave of deep blue energy shredded the pavement and launched the villains from the courtyard.
"MASTER GET Us oou…" Shigaraki began to pass out from the wave of stamina that forced all of his stamina reserves out of his body. Block ooze erupted out of his mouth. Evellyn keeled over with the same ooze. Both disappeared into the slime. No longer to be seen. My attack wasn't enough to kill Nomu and because his last order was to kill Aizawa it relentlessly approached him attempting to take his life.
"DON'T WORRY STUDENTS, I AM HERE. HAHAHAHAA" All Might approached quickly and clashed with the beast quickly launching it deep into the concrete and disabling it unlike what any of us could do. Without its master continuing its push and giving it another order, it just gave up and sat in its hole. It's a little beaked head just sticking out.
All Might quickly rushed around USJ bringing all the students and villains they had defeated into the courtyard. I rushed over to Midoriya, Asui, and Hitoshi who were huddled around Aizawa.
"Back up please, I need to work on him. I'll get these two back on their feet. Please go meet up with the rest of your class at the top of the stairs Asui and Hitoshi." They gave me a worried look but left the wounded in my hands.
Green energy swirled in my hands. Stamina was everywhere and this would be an easy repair to perform. I stitched Aizawa back together making sure all his bones were back in place. His personal stamina drained at the healing I was giving him but the stamina in the environment did most of the work. Aizawa was still unconscious but that was probably for the best.
"Now Midoriya, I am going to heal your arms and you are going to tell me why you approached the courtyard. Then I am going to smack you over the head for being an idiot because I know you are going to say that you wanted to save Eraserhead, but he is a hero, and you need to let us do our jobs." I lectured him as I repaired the splintered arms.
The other heroes and the police arrived to sweep up the villains. Students gave their testimony while I kept healing Midoriya's arms.
He gave me a nervous look and a bashful smile. "Seem's like I've been read like a book, Sensei." He scratched the back of his head with the arm I had already healed. "Sensei, when we have time, can you tell me about your quirk more, it does so many things." His nerd was showing. "This might be the strongest healing power I have ever seen."
"Because it probably is the strongest healing quirk on the planet, Midoriya. But yes, I can tell you more later but most heroes keep some cards close to their chest so I can't tell you everything. Just things you've seen." I was his sensei after all. Had to nurture the analytical talent he had.
"Now you should tell me why you are breaking your arms because when I see you using your quirk, it makes me think you are an idiot." I gave him an exasperated sigh. All Might came over to check on him and gave us both a thumbs-up before leaping away.
"W-w-what do you mean? Does something look wrong with my quirk, Sensei?" I can't give away that I know his secret, but I didn't need to reveal that to tell him to fix his problem.
"What happens when you fill a water balloon with too much water, Midoriya?"
"It explodes."
"Good, now when I see you use your quirk, it's kind of like you are filling your limb with tons of stamina and then it's exploding just like a water balloon. When I use my power, I spread it throughout my body at the level it can handle. The goal for me is to fill it up to the point that I don't break." I finished up healing his other arm. "Let's give this a little experiment shall we since I am right here and can fix it if something goes wrong.
"Use your quirk to fill your entire body, not just your arm to a level where you don't feel like exploding. Don't overfill the water balloon. Put just enough in it so that you can move around."
Midoriya smacked his forehead like he was an idiot because he was. He put a little energy into his whole body and the classic green sparks sparkled over his form.
"Good job, how much do you feel like you are using?"
He stared in awe at his hand which had green lightning flitting through his fingertips. "Just 1% sensei."
"Well, that's enough for now. Just practice it alright? Always at a safe limit. Now go meet your classmates, we will be discussing this in class on Monday."

There will be one more chapter discussing the USJ, it will be a teacher debrief. I want to practice my extended multi-member conversations and it will be a good chance.
