Chapter 3: Cold Aloof Goddess
Same day in the night.
"You are here," Kaguya said before Akira could speak.
"How do you know about this?" Akira asked. He hadn't even said anything and Kaguya guessed he is already there.
"You come here at the same time, so I just guessed."
Akira nodded at her words and said, "So, you are just bored here."
Silence appeared between them, and Akira broke the silence and said,
"Today I practiced Transformation Technique for the first time. At first, it was difficult but slowly, I got used to it and now I can transform into anyone, who has the same shape as my body."
"I will now start to practice transforming Older and Younger People. When I have mastered Transformation Technique, I will be able to talk with you anytime. Though I don't have enough chakra to keep my consciousness here all the time."
Kaguya didn't say anything and Akira didn't mind it. He had already gotten used to it and Akira understood that she is the ultra-pro max level of Loner and Introvert.
"Do you have anything you want to talk about or ask?"
Kaguya remained silent for a moment and then asked, "Do you know me?"
Hearing this, Akira tilted his head and said, "Hmm! Kaguya, right?"
"Don't joke around. Tell me, Do you know me? Did you know about me before you came here and started to talk with me?"
Akira remained silent and Kaguya got her answer.
"What do you know about me?" She asked, and for the first time, Akira felt something more in her voice. He could sense slight curiosity in it and he said, "I will tell you next time. After all, it's a long topic and I don't want to leave it in the middle. Still, I didn't expect you to have curiosity about what I know about you."
Kaguya opened her white eyes and said, "What do you think of me as?"
"Cold Aloof Goddess?" Akira said in a questioning tone as her image in his mind is based on what he saw in the past and his interactions with her.
"I will leave now." He said and left the place.
"Cold Aloof Goddess? So he really knows much about me, but he still talks with me every day. Is he different from rests or is he planning something? I guess I will know everything tomorrow." Saying this, she closed her eyes and went to her 'one-day' sleep.
Closing Senrigan in the bathroom, Akira left the place and arrived in the bedroom. He looked at the kids sleeping in the room and sighed.
'No need to think about extra things. The Senrigan is still difficult to handle. I need to make sure I can remotely control my consciousness while remaining conscious in my body. For now, If I close my eyes in my real body, my consciousness would also close his eyes. This is a problem that I will have to solve.'
Closing his eyes, Akira started to think of sleep, and minutes later, he went to the Real of Dreams that he can't reach with Senrigan.
The next day, Akira, after having breakfast and cleaning himself, he went outside the orphanage. In his hand are a few papers on which, he has written a rom-com story, and now, he is going to the publishing station and using it to earn money. He could have written erotica but he knew that they wouldn't be popular with women in the village, maybe.
Appearing at the Van-Hesi Publications, he looked at the old man sitting on the chair and asked, "Good Morning Old Man! Who should I talk to regarding book publishing?"
The Old Man looked at Akira and said, "Good Morning Kid! What are you doing here? Why do you want to talk to the manager?"
"I want to talk with the person who could publish my story. I have written the first few chapters of it." Akira said while showing the pages in his hand. Hearing this, the Old Man had an amused expression and said, "Let me see and see what you have written. If it is good, then I will let you meet with the manager."
"Eh? Really? But what if you try to steal my story after finding it is good?"
The Old Man started laughing as he heard this and said, "Kid! What are you saying? Why would I steal your book? After all, it's still incomplete."
Akira nodded even though he knew already. He gave the pages to the Old Man and he started to read this. Till then, Akira looked at the leaves lying on the road. He picked them and put them between his hands and started to practice Leaf Cutting Exercises.
Fifteen minutes passed by and Akira had cut down 60 leaves. He was about to cut another but then he felt a hand on his shoulder, which shook him and he lost his control.
"Genius! Boy! What a good start you have written. I don't what you have planned but reading this start, I am sure others like me would look forward to this story." The Old Man said and Akira could swear that he saw stars in his eyes.
"I know! That's why I came to talk with the publisher. So, when are you going to let me talk with the Publisher."
"Jajajaja! You don't need to meet the Publisher as you have been talking to him. Now let's go inside and talk about it." The Old Man said and Akira smiled at him.
'I already knew you were the publisher, that's why I let you read the book or else I don't trust anyone here. After already getting scammed once, I don't wanna scam myself. You have already scammed two before me, and knowing this, I only bought a few chapters that could be considered starting fillers.'
Akira walked inside while looking at the Old Man's back and thinking about what happened in the past. It's good that he had Senrigan or he would be like others and scammed by the Kind persona this Old Man showed.
