Chapter 4: Knowing Truth!
"So, Boy! Tell Me! Who wrote this story?" The Old Man asked with a kind smile but Akira could see the mirth in his eyes.
"I wrote this one. Now will you publish this or I should go to other Publishers?"
Akira replied calmly and seeing that he isn't flustered, a sigh escaped the Old Man and he said, "No! You don't need to go to others. They will doom your books. You have come to the right place. Before that, tell me, what's your name? I can't keep on calling you kid, right?"
"I am Akira."
Akira said and didn't say anything else. Hearing this, The Old Man's eyes twitched and he said, "Anything else?"
"No!"
"How will I contact you?"
"You don't need to. I will give my books on time and take payment upfront every month."
"Kid! This isn't how it works here."
"Then I guess I will look for other publishers where it will work like this."
The Old Man looked at Akira's stubborn expression and sighed.
"Then I will give you 8% royalty. All the other work will be done by me and all you have to do is provide me with the chapters each month."
"Too less. I want 20% and you will get all the books I will write. I am sure you won't be disappointed and they are much better than this one."
"Too much! I can give 10 and then an extra one percent for each book you will complete. Though it will only happen if they are what you said, and your books became famous in the market."
Hearing this, Akira became silent and remembered the n number of stories he knew.
"Deal! Now let's sign a contract. But how will I know that you won't try to cheat me?" Akira said. Even though he could know it anytime, he still need a 'proof' of it.
"Both of us will have a contract and the Konoha Bank will be the ones who will make sure we won't try to cheat. They work under the Hokage and I am sure you won't try to cheat as Hokage Sama would just send Ninjas and everything will be known."
Akira nodded at him and they both drafted a contract. Looking at the conditions in it, a smile appeared on Akira's face and he said, "Let's go and give this to the Bank. Then I will give you the remaining chapters of the First Volume. Next month, I will give you the second volume and take the money on the same day. Is this okay with you?"
"Okay? It's more than enough."
Akira and the Old Man went to the bank. The Bank didn't ask much, except they took their blood and sealed the contract. After this, Akira gave the remaining chapters to the Old Man and now he just has to wait for a month and then he will be able to at least eat anytime he wants.
After he was done with it, Akira went back to the Orphanage and practiced the Transformation Technique. He wants to be able to use Senrigan in his Transformation without anyone knowing anything.
Again, Night arrived and the time to talk with Kaguya came. He went to the washroom and closed the door after putting a cleaner at the door.
"Yo! I am here." Akira said and heard a hum from Kaguya.
"So, what did you do today?" Kaguya asked. She had been listening to this every day and later, she would try to imagine what he did by the situation she forms always is too different.
"Hehehe! Today is the day I took my first step at becoming rich. I went to the Publisher and gave my book. Now I just need to wait for a month and then maybe, I will be able to talk with you anytime. Still, I think instead of this, we should talk about you."
"Hn."
"I know who you are, i.e. Kaguya Otsutsuki, also known as Rabbit Goddess. I also heard what you did but instead of that, I want to hear what and why you did? I mean was there any point in making an army of Zetsu? After all, Otsutsuki's are quite stronger than them."
Hearing this, Kaguya didn't speak for some time and said, "I was lost."
"Oh! Really? It's just like I expected. The Chakra Fruit made you crazy and the primal urge to get stronger made you lose your reasoning and you lost it?" Akira said as he heard this.
Kaguya opened her eyes and after a moment, she said, "...You are correct."
Though Akira could feel something different in her voice, he ignored it for now and said, "So that's why you were sealed by Hagoromo and Hamura? After you lost it, Hagoromo and Hamura sealed you here but then in the 1000s, did they talk to you or even try talking to you even once?"
Kaguya waited for a moment and then said, "No!"
"I see. They sure are just waiting for the prophecy about the Blue-Eyed Boy to pass. For now, I think I will leave as I am starting to feel a headache. I will meet you tomorrow and then we will talk more about this. Also, one more thing, Isshiki is still alive."
Dropping the bomb, Akira left the place.
"Isshiki is still alive? How is that possi---? Wait! Did he use Karma Seal? But how did he find someone compatible?" Kaguya said but no one answered and she then kept on thinking about Isshiki and the things he could do on her planet.
"I need more information about this. Still, what were Hagoromo and Hamura doing after sealing me? Did they not sense him or something? I didn't even get to tell them about Otsutsukis. And what does Akira mean when he said about the Prophecy regarding the Blue-Eyed Boy? Did the toad say other things to Hagoromo too?? Too many questions and no answers to them."
Kaguya kept on thinking about the questions and waited for Akira to appear again and then get answers to them.
