Chapter 1033: -1020- The start of a new semester

After Minamiya Natsuki's warning, Rozen and his companions did not encounter any further trouble. Itogami Island returned to calmness, allowing everything to resume its orderly routine.

After a month of effort, the frozen northern district was successfully saved. Not only were the residents thawed out and awakened from their slumber, but the environment, facilities, and buildings in the northern district were also unfrozen, restoring the entire area.

With the technology of the Demon Sanctuary, achieving this was not difficult. However, perhaps due to Natsuki's actions and the Lion King Agency's plans, the reason for the northern district's freezing has not been revealed to the public yet. The external explanation was that a crucial research project encountered issues, leading to the disaster, causing citizens to speculate whether Itogami Island was attacked by terrorists, causing fear among the populace.

Why did destruction occur in the southern district before the northern district was frozen? People believed that terrorists attacked Itogami Island, causing damage in the southern district and retreating to the northern district to unleash an unknown secret weapon as retaliation, resulting in everything that happened.

The Management Cooperative did not defend against these speculations but continued diligently resolving the disaster.

In this situation, as the northern district thawed and people were rescued one by one, the damage in the southern district gradually repaired. After returning to its previous state, the rumors finally subsided.

Ultimately, according to the Management Cooperative's statistics, the partial damage in the southern district and the overall freezing of the northern district resulted in costs for repair and recovery amounting to tens of billions.

This staggering number left many sighing, but there was nothing to be done except hope that by spending money, everything would return to normal.

Rozen observed all this, quietly returning to a peaceful life. During the day, he attended school, and at night, he practiced at home, returning to his previous rhythm of life.

During this time, something happened.

Nagisa woke up.

Through Rozen's efforts, the spirit within Nagisa seemed to fall back into slumber, allowing Nagisa to wake up. However, due to being possessed by spirits, Nagisa's physical condition deteriorated significantly, making it impossible to continue attending school normally. Furthermore, MAR's affiliated hospital in the northern district was frozen, unable to operate normally, so Nagisa could only stay at home to recuperate.

Fortunately, Avrora also moved in. After overcoming initial shyness and timidity, for some reason, she started to like the talkative Nagisa, sticking with her all the time. Thus, during the day, when Rozen and Kojou went to school together, Nagisa and Avrora stayed home together, not feeling lonely or isolated.

In the evenings, when Rozen and Kojou returned home, the four of them would gather together, sometimes chatting, sometimes watching TV or playing games, occasionally going out together. However, they were all subject to Natsuki's curfew, as she claimed that as students and people who couldn't support themselves, they couldn't wander outside at night, perfectly shouldering the responsibility of guardianship.

Despite Natsuki's supervision, Rozen and his group lived quite freely, as long as they obeyed basic curfew rules, Natsuki didn't interfere much.

Of course, Rozen was an exception and continued to train various abilities under Natsuki's guidance.

Thanks to this, Kojou, Nagisa, and Avrora began to understand why Rozen could perform so perfectly outside.

"Indeed, having an elder sister who is both a teacher and an instructor, the household education is really strict."

Kojou exclaimed.

"All of this progress is thanks to your efforts, Nichiyo-kun. Kojou-kun should learn from you, at least improve your academic performance. Nichiyo-kun has to learn violin, piano, flute, aristocratic etiquette, and social dance, right?"

Nagisa scolded her brother, advocating learning from Natsuki and becoming a strict guardian, correcting Kojou's tendency to neglect studies.

"I... I think your progress is a good thing!"

Even Avrora said so.

As a result, these three sometimes got involved in Rozen's learning turmoil and were trained together by Natsuki.

"Nagisa doesn't need to be mentioned, she's not in a condition to attend school normally anyway, if she wants to smoothly progress to the next level, she needs to study hard on her own. Avrora is the same, extremely lacking in common sense, surviving in this society won't be easy, not to mention you, Kojou, you've got a red light on this English exam, haven't you? Since you're not planning to play basketball anymore, make sure to catch up!"

Natsuki not only demonstrated her role as a guardian but also fulfilled her responsibilities as a teacher, giving guidance to Rozen and his group beyond school hours.

However, the four companions spent time together, and with Natsuki's moderation, strict but not forced, they had plenty of time to rest, making them quite content.

It's worth mentioning that Asagi and Motoki also met Avrora. After learning that Kojou and Nagisa moved into Rozen's house, these two mischief-makers came over the next day and met Avrora.

After some ups and downs, they finally got acquainted. Therefore, if the four of them went out, Asagi and Motoki would often join, making it quite lively.

The only downside was Nagisa's poor health, occasionally causing restrictions on going out. However, sometimes when she felt better, the four of them would go out together.

As for Natsuki, she was initially very busy. She had to handle Avrora's aftermath, accommodate Kojou and Nagisa, and also secretly do countless things for Rozen. She was an unsung hero behind the scenes until the disasters in the southern and northern districts were resolved.

Only then did Natsuki finally have some free time and would sometimes accompany Rozen and his group at home, leading an equally leisurely life.

And so, more than half a year quietly passed.

This year, Rozen officially entered high school.

Naturally, Rozen continued his studies at Saikai Academy, entering its high school division.

Kojou, Asagi, and Motoki also successfully advanced to high school and, just like in their third year of middle school, the four of them remained in the same class.

Although Nagisa missed many seats due to her health reasons, she still smoothly entered the third year of middle school, only one year away from graduating middle school.

When Natsuki saw Rozen and Kojou donning their high school uniforms and Nagisa wearing her new middle school uniform, Avrora strongly advocated.

"I... I also want to go to school!"

Yes, Avrora also wanted to go to school.

"I want to attend the same school as Nichiyo and Nagisa!"

The vampire girl who was extremely attached to Rozen and Nagisa insisted like this.

To this...

"...Alright."

After thinking for a moment, Natsuki-nee agreed to it.

"You should also enter school for further education. It's not a bad thing to adapt to this era as soon as possible. I'll make arrangements for this."

Natsuki-nee made this decision.

So, under Natsuki-nee's arrangement, Avrora smoothly entered school and, like Nagisa, enrolled in the third year of middle school, becoming a transfer student at Saikai Academy.

And today marks the beginning of the new semester.
