Chapter 18: Quote on quote a future hero

After a while, he began to ignore the insult handed to him. Insanity is simply another way of seeing the world. It's not his problem that he isn't bound by their pitiful rules, that they are willingly following. With the name of The caretaker, being his identity. He decided to become a quote on quote hero. While maintaining and looking over the backrooms. Though he wondered is it possible to create. He created a painting of a realistic eye on level 11. What if that same eye, decided to leave the role of a painting and become an entity.

Perhaps it was within his power, but now, it wasn't his concern or goal. So he let the thought fly through the realm of possibilities. He wanted to see what would happen if he became a hero. He knew what a school is, perhaps a memory of his previous life, or information given to him by the backrooms to understand what it is. But he didn't know what was the experience. Perhaps something interesting, people go there to study, so he would be forced to interact with people. Quite appealing, when it would help him see through their eyes.

With that in mind, he was ready to accept the offer, perhaps let reality lead him to that same man, and ask him to do what he had offered. But he wasn't going there to become a hero, more like just there for the sheer experience, while he continued with his game of exploring the backrooms. This reminded him about his phone, He was planning on trying to make a universal device. But how exactly?

He thought to himself for a bit, perhaps he could do it later. And with that, he opened a wound in reality and asked reality to bring him to the man, who was currently sitting on the roof of a building. He looked at the man, who was skinny but had the same hair. Considering that this might not be the man, he decided to not press it too much. But reality pointed straight at him. "So, Hello again." The child said as he sat down on the floor. The man looked at him, with the clear knowledge that the child knew his secret identity.

"So you know..." The man said, in a hidden disbelief. "That you are that person? Yeah, You can't hide from reality you know." The child said lifting his shoulders. "I would like to take up on your offer." The kid said with an excited smile.

"Gotta say. If you don't get enrolled. You could go to the entrance exam a few months away from now." The man said, his voice wasn't as high as in his hero form, it was somewhat faint.

"Where?"

"At UA high."

"This speaks nothing to me." The child truly had no idea where that was, the names were just empty for him as he couldn't really tell which is which.

The way that the child responded shocked The man, but knowing that his identity was now part of the child's mind, He could consider that he can also find out where UA is with ease.

The caretaker, took some time to think as the man sat there in silence, and after a while. He realized it, he didn't even need to know where it is, because reality knew it for him. He could just ask to be lead there by it.

"Yeah..." The child was getting excited, perhaps a bit of movement wouldn't be bad when he was hyperactive. He wasn't sure where he got all this energy from, but it made him happy having it. And with that, he fell backwards as he skipped through every level he has visited before he was ejected onto the lawns of UA high. It triggered an alarm as the schools wall began closing, but now he at least knew that it worked.

He was trespassing to where the man wanted to help him enroll, but it seemed that the child didn't really care about it. Because it seemed kind of bland the building just was. The child ignored the piercing sounds as he simply created a wound and returned back to the man. "Yeah there is some alarm. The architecture is kind of boring." The child said as he sat down. He was acting just like a kid even while not fully. He was still a child within. But he changes when he is faced with serious matters...

The man realized about what alarms the kid was talking about and looked at shock, as he did imagine that this action ruined the kids chances to enroll.

The child saw his expression and simply smiled before lifting his shoulders and tilting his head. He really didn't care for it, it could happen. But if it didn't, he could give much of a care in the world for it.
