Chapter 22: EARTH POV
It was a normal day for 13 year old Eli Wallace and his family. His father was at work and his mother was at home tending to her garden out back. Eli was a smart kid, but at the same time a bit of a slacker who enjoyed playing video games and science fiction of any kind. His favorite movies were Star Wars and Planet of the apes.
Eli had spent a good couple hours worth of time setting up his character in a new game he had just bought to look just like a character from an anime he liked called Mysterious Girlfriend X, a slightly weird anime that wasn't nearly as popular as it should be in his opinion. When he was finally about to save his new customized character and move onto the actual game, he felt the earth start to shake.
Fearing that his mother Marian Wallace that was in the backyard was in danger, he moved quickly as he made his way to her. "Mom! I think it's an earthquake, let's find an open space away from the trees and powerlines"
Although Washington DC wasn't known for having earthquakes, his mother listened to her extremely intelligent son and followed his lead. Just as they found an open field to stand in that was close to their house they heard a thunderous roar from the sky and looked up as a huge city descended from the heavens themselves breaking open the sky and then flying away from them.
Not long after seeing the city fly past them, they saw numerous jet's and helicopters in pursuit of it. Eli was too shocked to speak as him and his mother both kept staring blankly at the direction the flying city had gone. After a long period of time Elie spoke up. "I'm not the only one that saw that right?"
Eli's mom took a second before composing herself and answering her son. "No, I saw it. I don't know what I just saw, but I saw it. You're not crazy."
Eli's mom went back into their house and turned off the video game, putting on the news. Eli would have normally been upset at losing his games progress, but at this moment he was just as curious as his mom. As they flipped through the tv channels, every channel was discussing what they had just seen. Some channels suggested it could be a UFO/Alien invasion while others suggested that it was a new military aircraft and there were even some that believed it to be a prank/hoax.
Whatever it was, it had everyone on earths attention.

General Hammond was on the phone with the President trying to convince him to let SG1 approach the alien city that had landed on earth hours ago when a bright light appeared in the gate room and a Young Jaffa male appeared out of thin air.
The military personnel inside the gate room acted swiftly as they pointed their guns at the intruder. General Hammond ran to the command room and yelled into the microphone. "lockdown the facility immediately".
The young Jaffa was scared of these humans, but he knew of a being a lot scarier than them and immediately gained courage as he held his hands up in surrender. "I come in peace, I am an emissary of Sisyphus and he wishes to speak with SG1 about his recent arrival on earth".
After the alien city had landed on earth, all gate travel was shut down until further notice. All of the teams that were out on missions were told to return, so SG1 was nearby when the Jaffa gave his invitation. Jack was the first to speak. "Sisyphus? Wasn't he that big red guy that ran around naked, killing Apophis and all his Jaffa as he swung around two different light sabers?"
"It was only one lightsaber" replied Jackson.
Jack raised his eyebrow. "No I distinctly remember him swinging around two different rods"
Samantha and Daniel both rolled their eyes at Jack and watched as Hammond spoke to the Jaffa through the mic. "Son, we don't negotiate with Goa'uld, especially not with ones that invade our planet".
Suddenly a voice rang out from the Jaffa's com badge. "General Hammond, Id appreciate it if you didn't slander me. I am not a Goa'uld and this Jaffa is not my slave. I saved him from his false god and have treated him well. I am not a bad guy."
The Jaffa hearing the words come from the com badge was flabbergasted at his bold face lies when it came to his treatment, but remained quiet. A few of the more keen military personnel picked up on the Jaffa's micro facial movements and body language and couldn't help but wonder what kind of man Sisyphus really was.
"How do you know my name and how do you know about this facility?" Asked General Hammond.
"It's not important, I've known for a long time and have never made a move against you or your subordinates. Like the Jaffa said earlier, I come in peace. I gave beginners shi- the Jaffa four stones, please give those stones to the four people that can help me negotiate with the United Nations, I wish for my city to become a sovereign nation and to trade my knowledge with the people of Earth. The four stones will act as markers for me to beam you into my city, you are allowed to bring your earth weapons if it makes you feel safe. I will beam the people you have chosen here in 24 earth hrs".
After Sisyphus spoke through the com badge, the Jaffa sat the four stones on the ground and then confirmed he was ready to come back and then disappeared in a beam of light like he was never there to begin with.
All of stargate command looked down at the four stones in curiosity. They had not encountered such an advanced civilization that wanted to have good ties with earth before. It was a huge opportunity, but it could also be a trap. They had to think about everything carefully before proceeding. It was unlikely that such an advanced civilization would need to go in such a round about way to attack them, but it never hurts to be careful.
