Chapter 115: THE FURY

"Look at them... Seems like they are not affected with the Duchess' death. So merciless..."

"How cold-blooded individuals. They lack empathy, so different with our Saintess. Look at Lady Helena, truly saddened with the passing of the Grand Duchess."

"This is witch craft. Everyone knows that the Duke has now greatly favored the first Miss despite how bad she is. She must have done something for the Duke for him not to react to his wife's death. So cold."

"Exactly, she's a witch."

Rumors began to flash as everyone started to leave the graveyard, talking behind Felicia's back, exaggerating her character that even her chuckled at their response. Even if this is because of Helena's charm or their natural reaction when something related to her happened, it's still making her feel very annoyed yet making her laugh.

To claim that she's a witch is something that is truly laughable. The witch is out there, crying herself, driving pity towards the guests to gain sympathy over how sad and how unfortunate it is for her mother to die. Straight up pathetic.

"Don't mind their words, Felicia. They don't know the story." Alexander whispered as he stared at the grave of Tyren. He wasn't moving, he was just observing and letting everyone leave first before him and the rest of the family leave. It was just them who were left, along with the new butler whom Alexander chose, and some servants to accompany them.

Other than that, everyone has already left.

Meanwhile, Felicia just chuckled as her eyes then roamed to look at everyone. It appears that the servants are now beginning to load the carriage while the Duke is being escorted back in the carriage with the Butler, leading him. Everyone is now back at the carriage, far from their position who was left behind at the site where Tyren was buried.

So its just the three of them.

"I'm not angry at them. Let them spout nonsense, whatever they say, I will never respond with it-"

"YOU!" Someone yelled that made Felicia flinch upon how loud the voice went. Both their eyes trailed Helena who started power-walking in their direction, her eyes were glaring intensely at her, with her finger pointed at her direction. Felicia and Alexander frowned seeing her behavior becoming erratic, what the hell is wrong with her now?

"Do you need something, Helena-" Before Alexander could even finish his words, she glared at him and even yelled right directly into his face that made him shut his mouth, offended and disrespected by Helena who was angrily looking at Felicia.

"Can you shut up for once, Alexander?! You've been nothing but a biased brother! You're supposed to love me! Why are you showing your affection at Felicia?! Shouldn't you be avoiding her?! You're so unfair!" She yelled right directly in his face which made him frown with her remarks. Him? Being unfair? yeah right, he's so unfair that he had forgotten about his own sister.

"I've been nothing but a bias brother towards you, Helena and favor you right in front of my existing sister. I've been unfair to Felicia for so many years that you have no right speaking to me that i am being biased and unfair to you." He told her with his tone so ice-cold that even Felicia felt a light shiver on her spine.

"I am your sister too, Alexander! I deserve more of your affection rather than you giving it to Felicia! I've been there in your lowest and your achievements. Felicia wasn't even there for Goddess' sake! You're so blind that you can't even see me hurting! I am more deserving of your brotherly love rather than this wench!" She retorted, exchanging banter together with him.

"DON'T YOU EVER CALL HER A WEN-"

"Please everyone, respect the people who have been buried in this land, you'll frightened them." Felicia has to put herself in between, stopping the two from yelling at each other and throwing insulting words to her or the two. Goodness gracious, dead people are resting yet these two living has to be disrespectful.

"She called you a wench, I cant accept that." Alexander pointed out, baring his fist on Helena who had the audacity to smirk at Felicia, seemingly proud at what she did by calling her such insult right in her face. This woman has gone crazy after the death of her mother. Should Felicia be even worried at it?

"Brother..." She called to get his attention. She even placed her arm at his back, making him soften his facial structure while looking at her, occasionally throwing a glare towards Helena who now being eaten by a green-eyed monster, envious at how Alexander softened with her touch, being in control of him.

"Can you step back and wait for me at the carriage? This will be fast, I swear." She muttered, smiling at Alexander who was fuming mad with her request, in disbelief that she was pushing him away instead of letting him stay to control the situation if anything happened. He's even ready to hit Helena if it wasn't for Felicia's interruption.

She would've bleed if he did.

"What? Are you seriously pushing me away? You know that I cant do that, right?" Alexander frowned, not expecting for Felicia. "I'll be fine. It's just a conversation happening between us. Sisters to sisters, isn't that right, Helena?" She asked, smiling at the mad bull woman who rolled her eyes instead of talking back to her

Coward.

"See?" Felicia even chuckled at the cold response she's getting from the two of them. "Go now. You know that I can handle myself very well. You don't have to protect me anyway." She added while sparing a glance over Helena who was offended with her words.

"What's making my sister attack me anyway? She's harmless. She has reputation to uphold." She cussed her, reminding that her work as a Saintess will be put into consideration if she begins to do something that includes beating her.

"Are you accusing me of hitting you? Who do you think you are—"

"I'll see you later after this, Alexander. Go now. My sister and I will have a sisterly talk." Felicia caught her off before she could even finish a word. "Mind you, sister. It's in the policy of etiwuette, to not cut off a person who's still speaking. Even now, you're still far behind? We really have to change your instructor then." She mocked, eyeing Helena who was fuming mad, her hands turned into fists as she hid the intent to make a fuss.

"Very well then. I'll be waiting at the carriage." Alexander sighed, didn't have the chance to even stop whatever she was planning. But he trusts her not to do something that would result in her unfavorably.

As Alexander left, it was just only her and Helena. It seems that her knight just left her while she was crying on her own, busy mingling with the servants and flirting with the female servants.

"What seems to be the problem, Helena?" She asked as she faced Helena who was silent the whole time. She was really busy yapping towards Alexander but it appears to be her mouth becoming silent.

"You..."

"Me, what?" She asked her while folding her arms on her chest. She's been spouting you since forever and yet, here she is refusing her mouth to tell her something other than pointing the word you to Felicia.

"You did this... You did this to my mother... You caused her death, didn't you?" She suddenly claimed that Felicia's brows furrowed. what the hell is she talking about? What the hell is happening in her head?

"Just like what you did to your own mother... You did this to her, didn't you? You witch... You're a devil!" She screamed as she began to point her finger once again towards Felicia who was flabbergasted with her claims.

The fact that she was calling her as a witch and even recalling a situation that happened due to an accident made her snicker, so she's going to use this tactic, just like what she did to those people who were charmed.

"I beg your pardon, Helena. But what the fuck are you talking—"

"You did this because you're jealous of my family, huh? You're so greedy and envious of my developing family that you killed my mother by sending her to the monastery, huh? You're so jealous that you did this towards an innocent civilian just because she's the second wife?! You're supposed to be in love with us! You're supposed to accept us as we are your family! But no! You caused this death of my mother, and I will not allow you to destroy my family ever again!" She yelled, even pointing Helena to the point that her fingernails were dug into Felicia's chest.

That quite hurts but nothing can make her laugh at Helena's nonsense. She must have gone crazy, guessing from the words she's spouting right directly at her. Really? Is she blaming her for something so suspicious?

"You killed my own mom because you cannot accept us! You killed my mom because you didn't want me to be happy after Daddy and Alexander started to favor me rather than you who killed your own mother! You killed my mom because you're so bitter! You put a curse into my mom, you witch! You should've died just like your mother—"

Before she could even utter those words, Felicia's hand automatically landed on her cheek, hitting Helena on the face as Felicia's expression turned into anger and in disbelief.

It felt like someone occupied herself as she slapped Helena across the face, making her cheek flared, turning red as disbelief was written on her face, leaving her speechless while still processing what just had happened.

It's the first time if she can remember clearly that she hit Helena.
