Chapter 34: Chapter 34 - Test
"Well, good luck in there," said Ashe seeing Darius enter the Royal Academy.
Darius turned around and waved at her goodbye since it would take a while until he would be able to see her again, he didn't know how much time yet though.
'Well, thank you for everything,' said Darius to himself as he started advancing through the door that was only steps away from him.
"Before you reach the academy grounds, you will need to pass our test to determine your talent or your worth if you prefer," said the person who was right beside Darius.
Of course, Darius hadn't been alone when crossing those doors as he was currently being guided by what seemed to be an elf.
How did Darius figure that out?
Well, the ears of that person were long and pointy which is pretty much a synonym of being an elf.
That person also had long blonde hair just like Darius had previously seen in movies in his past life.
"So, where is that test?" asked Darius, not worried in the least about it since Yorick had just modified it not too long ago.
He knew the result that he would get a B which would land him in an average class surrounded by average people which is exactly what he wanted.
"Just follow we'll soon arrive there," said the slender elf which was right in front of Darius slowly moving forward.
The elf always made sure to look behind him to see if Darius was truly following him.
While walking toward where the test would be taking place, Darius made sure to observe and analyze his surroundings as he would be in this place for the next years.
'Woah, wait is that some sort of car?' exclaimed Darius to himself when he saw the thing that was on his right.
To be honest, Darius had thought that it was a car at first, but it clearly wasn't the case.
This "car" had two propulsors in the back of it to make it go really fast and that wasn't the only thing that was different about it.
It seemed to be made with quite expensive materials and it wouldn't break if it went through a wall.
After giving that vehicle a quick look, he looked toward the aisle that he was walking observing the walls and door to the many rooms which he had already passed by.
The walls were in golden colour with some touch of red in the extremities of the walls, probably because this academy was supposed to be royal and what better colour to represent that than gold and red?
Then, the elf executed an abrupt stop right in front of Darius which caused him to bump into him.
"Um, sorry about that," apologized Darius as he hadn't been looking in front of him which is why something like that happened.
"No worries," replied the elf with a smile.
However, when Darius glanced at his eyes, they were in clear with the rest of his face as if mad that Darius had bumped into him.
'Jeez, doesn't take much, huh?'
Then, the elf opened the golden and red door on his right and invited Darius right in.
"There you go, you can go sit beside the others," said the elf as he closed the door right behind Darius.
Then, the elf looked to the left of the room where a small desk was and told them Darius's full name.
'Woah, he has a temperament even if he tries to hide it,' thought Darius as the elf closed the door.
Then, Darius lifted his face and started to observe his surroundings and saw that there were already a lot of people sitting on chairs seemingly waiting to get called to take the test.
Seeing all sorts of people sitting, Darius didn't lose too much time and sat right beside what seemed to be a girl beast as she had a tail coming from her back.
'What even is she?' thought Aiden as he remarked that she didn't only have a black tail but also wings attached to her back.
However, even if he was intrigued he decided that it would be better if he were to ignore her and not introduce himself as he didn't want people to take note of him.
If somebody were to be talking, then he wouldn't hesitate, but since the room was in complete silence, Darius didn't want to get noticed by the others.
But, the more he looked at the girly beast on his right, the more he realized that maybe she wasn't a beast.
He remembered seeing such a creature before in movies back on Earth.
But, then as he was staring at her quite intensively, the beast of whatever she was turned her head toward Darius catching him staring at her.
'Fuck, I hope she doesn't think I'm a pervert or something like that,' thought Darius as it clearly wouldn't help his reputation if people started thinking such a thing.
Luckily, the girl didn't say anything only giving him a look of confusion.
Obviously, Darius acted as if he hadn't noticed such a look, keeping a straight face.
Then, noticing that the girl had looked away, Darius thought that he may have the time to observe her and finally determine what she looked like.
So, without wasting any time, he started observing her face and her body which was simply breathtaking.
Darius hadn't noticed it when he had first looked at her, but her curves were... perfect as if created by a god.
Then, he was able to get a good look at her face which was also extremely beautiful.
'Wait her face? Why can I get a good look at her?' thought Darius, realizing that the girl had once again caught him staring.
This time, however, it seemed that she wouldn't stay quiet as she slowly got closer to him toward his shoulder putting her hand on top of it.
"Can I help you with something?"
Then as she whispered that, her breath touched Darius's neck and for some reason, he started becoming more and more horny which caused his face to turn completely red from embarrassment.
"Oh, wow what's that smell?" she said as she started sniffing his neck, touching it with her nose occasionally.
'Wait, I know what she is?! She's a succubus,' thought Darius finally realizing what sort of creature she was.
That's why he had been aroused by her simple touch, it was probably related to her system and race.
Then, as his face started getting redder and redder, he could feel something in between his legs starting to get harder and harder.
'What did she do to me?!' thought Darius panicking over the state in which he currently was.
"Do you like that? When I whisper in your ear?" asked the succubus, once again making sure that Darius would be as aroused as possible.
Then, as he could himself lose control over his movements, a voice got him out of that state.
"Darius Bloodheart, Darius Bloodheart,"
It seemed that someone was already calling him for the test.
"Oh, Darius was it, mine's Evelynn, hihihi," she said laughing as cutely as she could.
The boys who heard her voice all turned their heads toward her with literal eyes on their faces.
In fact, it seemed like it was Aiden who was able to keep his control the most when he had the most contact with her.
'Evelynn, huh? Well, that makes one person that I need to go as far as I can,' thought Darius, not planning on keeping a relationship with that succubus, even if she on the other hand seemed extremely interested in him.
Then, Darius turned his head from that dangerous creature as he looked ahead of him where he saw someone sitting right beside a gigantic machine.
It seemed to be quite the advancement of technology as Darius had never seen such a thing back on Earth.
Maybe it was created with some weird powers, but well he couldn't figure that out could he?
As he got closer and closer to that machine, the man who was waiting for him told him to sit in the middle of it and what seemed to be a pretty comfortable seat.
"Alright, I'll now start the test," announced the man as Aiden started seeing the mechanical arms of that machine rotating around him over and over again.
Then, as the machine seemed to be slowing down, an alert resounded across the room.
*BEEP*
*BEEP*
*BEEP*
'Wait what's happening?' thought Darius, not sure why he was hearing all those beeping sounds.
'Is that normal?'
Then, he heard a mechanical voice which probably came from the machine which was only steps away from him.
[Unknown System Detected]
[Analyzing...]
The succubus who had just teased only moments ago was now standing, trying to get a good look on that person's face.
'What's happening, don't tell me that Yorick didn't change anything and tricked me?'
