Synopsis

Fang Hao, the son of a City Lord faces a harsh reality—he possesses minimal talent for cultivation.
Yet, upon discovering the mysteries of Formations and Arrays, his true calling is revealed.
Fueled by newfound passion and determined to climb to the pinnacle of power, he resolves to weave complex arrays and defy fate itself.
Fang Hao's start will have a solid backing, unlike those who begin from the bottom, having to face dozens of young masters and their ancestors.
Give it a try—if you don't like it, you can drop it.

This story will be detailed and won't rely on over-the-top triumphs or unrealistic settings. Instead, it will focus on authentic motivations and characters.
I'll introduce unique concepts I've collected over time, ones rarely seen in other books. The plot will start after Fang Hao's first arc. Expect a lot of world-building, and the power system will be complex, just like it should be in a cultivation novel.

This is the Author, Crown_Nyx. What will the book be about? Eastern World Cultivation. We follow an ordinary MC, without cheats. Feng Hao, the MC, will use Arrays/Formations as the main weapon. What I want from readers as the Author? Simple. Reviews/Comments; this, for me, is the most important.

I have read a couple of books from this author; I must say that the world-building and plot are quite refreshing for me. The introduction and description are well done and engaging. However, the cultivation world in this novel is quite unique on its own. It is set in an entirely new world, unlike the wuxia or martial art setting in the Jianghu type. Overall, this novel looks very promising, and I have high expectations for it.

I really love the detail you've put into this cultivation novel. The beginning is slow, but the world-building and the intricate workings of the actual cultivation world are amazing. In all the novels I have read about cultivation so far, the MC starts off weak and as a forgotten part of the world, but not here. Here, the MC begins in a medium world, as a normal human. The author explains the intricacies of Arrays, Formations, Manuals, and Pills, and every little detail, including Dao Scrolls meant for your allies/enemies to prevent betrayal in deals. I am impressed by the unique realms and how smart the characters are, the information provided, and upon reading the last chapter, I noticed that the MC has started training for arrays. I'm eager to read more chapters! I will update this at chapter 20 plus keep up the good work!

A great story that follows a mix of Cultivation, Reincarnation and Isekai. I guess this book is for those who wants to see a rational MC growing stronger step by step... Well, I hope it is, at least. Time for the points of reflection! First, the POV switch at the start (chapter 2) was a little too abrupt. Could be smoothed out with a little more transitions added. Next, the time skips! Well, I can understand why you would want to skip some stages since it'll just be a boring repeated day, but at least extend it a little more... He was a baby, then five months old, then almost 5 years old in just a couple of paragraphs. Other than that, and some minor ones that I wouldn't delve into, it's definitely a book worth reading! Great work author! Keep it up!

Finally! A book that isn't about alchemy alchemy stuff.I've always liked formations and Arrays more than alchemy so I'll definitely read this book.

i've read 6 chapter and so far the story keep captivating me. the opening is smooth, make me want to keep reading. the power system in this novel is quiet new for me, i'm never saw this kind power system in other cultivation novel. maybe because the mc is still in middle realm so the power system followed some kind martial art power system. but that's new thing is not big deal and it's still good.btw having royal elder sister or annoying cute little sister is so generic in eastern cultivation novel, why they don't make it elder brother or younger brother[img=disgusted]

If you're looking for an engaging cultivation story, then I highly recommend giving this one a read. The world-building in this novel is exceptional, and the personalities of the characters are distinct and unique.

I just have a lot of minor issues with this novel, and there is nothing I particularly liked about it. First off, the POV. The POV should either be firmly omniscient knowing everyone's perspective, or following MC. But instead it's in this weird limbo. Second, I feel like a lot of interactions are cut short with to little descriptions so we can't really get attached to anyone or anything. Third, I don't like any of the characters. I could only guess at even MC'S thoughts and plans. Despite reading almost 20 chapters I have no impression of MC. Honestly, EVERY side character has been nothing. We get one or two interactions with them being annoying or distant, and then they f*** off for half a dozen years. Fourth, I feel like the prologue added nothing to the story. I get that a prologue isn't meant to be important, but it should at least be more impactful then, "MC is an electrion that died to bad luck".

This novel is seriously an underated gem and quickly became one of my most anticipated reads everyday. The writing quality is good with only a couple spelling mistakes here and there but never enough to take you out of the story. The update stability is also great as you can usually expect a chapter a day and even sometimes two leaving me with nothing to complain about. The character design is what makes this novel unique as the MC follows the path of Arrays and Formations in the cultivation world which I feel are severely underused and it is always satisfying seeing Hao use his talent in Arrays. His development also feels realistic not going from a normal human to straight edge lord but a gradual progression over time with the side characters also not feeling one dimensional but people who can grow and change. Lastly the World Backgroud is also 5/5 so far as we are still being slowly introduced to everything and not just straight info dumped in the first chapters we get to explore it as the MC Hao does which I really like. It also leaves you to wonder and think not spoon feeding you all the answers. I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone who loves cultivation and wants to see a unique take on it with a fresh and interesting MC exploring the under-utilised path of Arrays as this novel deserves more love. :)

It's still a bit early to be sure, but it has potential.Pretty original background and power for the MC, no cheat (except maybe for his talent but that's not really a "cheat"), and as of chapter 28 no young master (though I guess he would be the young master in that case). You should give it a try if you want something new in this classic genre of cultivation.I will follow the story closely for now.

This novel is a brilliant take on the Eastern fantasy genre. The cultivation stages are unique as I have read them thus far. And the world's 'plundering' sets a fresh breath of air. Creating for engaging and hopeful expectation of marvelous plots in the future. Writing quality is peak. Updating stability is ok. Character's are portrayed brilliantly. The only thing is... This novel is a slow-burn. And I am more of the riding the turbulent waves person. Besides this, keeping working hard author. You are doing a marvelous job.

Crown_Nyx certainly has a good start with this story. 5 chapters in and I'm intrigued as to the cultivation system he's about to show off. The action and dialogues flow very well, and I really got a decent sense of the MC and his family. There are a few ambiguous word uses and minor errors, but nothing a decent round of edits wouldn't fix. Overall I would say: Give this novel a shot. It's certainly setting up to go some interesting places.

I actually really love this story! I realized I never seen one like this one! I love the added mystery at the beginning leading up to the mc being reborn and all of his new life seems to be really exciting! I wish this author luck! I am love with it already and will keep an eye out for more pages!

First Reader Review!!! (A little upset author took the first review spot *pouting*) Anyway, really great story so far - it's not much yet but there's a lot of potential. And I say this as someone who tends to stay away from cultivation stories (why because I do). Also, like the mc so far. The author has kept true to the mc not having cheats and I'm all for that. Can't wait to see how the mc grows.

A fine written story without the usual plot holes and logicless development. Reading it gives you a sense of relaxation due to the sea of novels that are filled with cliché plots that we are tired of. Even if it lacks a bit, author deserves a 5 star for putting an effort in making something unique. (Written at ch.50)

First of all, Author, keep up the good work, for the moment it is a worth it read, the book has multiple concepts of cultivation which is kinda nice, the reincarnation is nicely done as it differs from other books as the starting point of the mc is higher than most mcs in others novels

We are at Chapter 44, last chapter at this point, so far alot of fun. Great main chracter, but side charaters are looking to be even better, no strong suporting cast yet, but the world is growing fast and manageable! Cultivation with Arrays as the main Tool makes fights so much more interesting. I can see a point in the futre where his enemies fear him placing a single formation flag. You will enjoy every chapter. (Only 44 chapter out at the posting)

Wow. Wasn't sure what to expect going into this considering this story breaks away from the "norm" of similar stories in a few ways. Most notably rather than the MC starting at the bottom of the barrel, Fang Hao is from a powerful family with abundant resources. Wasn't sure how the author would tackle the story from this angle, but I have to say it has been a breath of fresh air for the genre. Another aspect I personally like is that rather than going down the well-trodden paths of either swordsmanship or alchemy, this MC focuses on arrays and formation, something I personally haven't read as a focus so far. Looking forward to how this aspect is developed in future chapters. Overall 5 stars so far except for character design, which I gave a 4 mainly due to it being so early into the story and how with all the time jumps it is difficult to get a proper grasp of the niches of the MCs personality. Though I imagine this will be made clear in future chapters. Great job Mr Author, hope you keep this up.
