Chapter 2: Unique Talent
He sees a virtual floating icon in front of him with the words 'status profile'. "Am I still high, but I don't remember taking anything?" He said it in a low voice.
"What are you murmuring about?" the mother asked.
"Mom, did you see something floating in front of me?" he asked his mother.
"Do you hurt your head or something, or are you still not fully awake? Nothing is floating here," his mother said with annoyance, and then she left his room.
But Aeon looked at the floating icon with the words 'status profile'. "If Mother cannot see, then what is this I am seeing?" And he touched the transparent icon. When he tapped it, a change happened, and a flat-screen appeared in front of him with much information.

"What the hell, is it not an attribute panel just like in games?" He was shocked to see all of this. "First a weird dream, and now this. Did I receive some kind of injury that caused brain damage and seeing things."
"Disappear, disappear. I am seeing things; nothing is floating in front of him. Take a deep breath and calm down! calm down!" As he closed his eyes and thought, the weird screen seemed to understand his words and disappeared.
When he opened his eyes and did not see the game-like panel, he finally felt relieved, but just as he held the doorknob and pulled the door, he accidentally pulled out the door knob from the door.
"What the hell", Aeon was surprised as he pulled the door knob but did not think anything special as it might have been loose, and so he immediately wanted to find the tools and fix this as he did not want to get another earful from his mother, but when he tried to move quickly to get his tools, he accelerated very quickly with such abnormal speed that he lost his balance and crashed into the wall.
Baam!
"Aeon ! What was that sound? Hearing the sound of him crashing into the wall, his mother asked.
But quickly, Aeon replied, "Nothing, Mom. I was just moving a few things in my room." After saying that, he tried to understand what happened: 'What was that quick, out-of-control movement of his body?
He sat down slowly and tried to throw some light jabs in the air, but he was beyond shocked by their speed and the sound they produced.
They were so fast that he could be sure that even a trained professional could not have such a quick jab. He now had a feeling that those weird dreams and the screen were not his hallucinations; they might be true.
He slowly stood up and continued to do some light jabs, and then he tried to do some push-ups to see how strong he had become; he effortlessly did 100 push-ups without breaking a sweat and did not stop until reaching 500. Even after doing 500 push-ups, he did not feel much.
Now Aeon can be sure he has become stronger, and his strength, stamina, and speed are beyond those of ordinary people.
Since that virtual screen was like a game panel, the stats it shows might all be legit, as well as those cool-sounding talents.
Since it was like a game panel, he thought, Status profile, and then the same screen appeared in front of him.
For the value of strength, agility, and endurance, he can understand what it means as it is direct. For mana stat, this should be the energy, as when he concentrated, he felt an energy in his body. Even in games, mana is a form of energy that is needed to use skills.
Mana is even mentioned in one of his school classes, though he had studied in ancient history classes that thousands of years ago, many kings or generals had energy called mana and divine abilities; they were worshipped as gods. Then he thought it was just a lie, and those things were just myths, but now he can guess everything might be true, and there are humans, who might have abilities or superpowers.
As for the spirit, he did not know what it did or what it signifies. And now, the most important part is 'talent'. As he has played many games and knows, talents are most important because they determine how strong a character is.

The moment he touched the small talent icon, the information in front of him changed, and the following words were shown:
