Chapter 2: Uncle
After 'father', my uncle and his family played a big role in my life. Although, they always played a bigger role before 'father' disappeared.
Uncle was my father's elder brother. He had a son and daughter who were a lot older than me; more than fifteen years older. I've barely known his son because he doesn't come, but I did interact with his daughter almost all the time. She played with me. They played with me. Every day they'd drop by to see me. I don't know if they came just for me, however, I knew that they wanted to see me.
Similar to my 'father', they also disappeared. Due to our continuous interactions, their existence lasted longer within me.
Weeks after 'father'; Uncle, his wife, and daughter came in their car with another man and greeted my mother and grandparents. My aunt started to cry and so did my mom. My cousin sister displayed no emotion, only stared away into a faraway distance. Uncle also wasn't in his usual behavior. My instincts recalled me, something was wrong. A moment later they'd leave and no one speaks a word about it.
