Chapter 5: Chapter 3 - Sect Examination [2]
Upon entering the space crack, the father and son duo arrived below many towering mountain peaks.
They looked around and found themselves inside a forest of luscious green trees.
"Here, show this letter to the sect elder holding the disciple examination, after that you're on your own. Also, considering your personality, please do your best not to kill arrogant bastards, my son."
"I'll keep that in mind father. Anyway, I'll be heading out first." Siphyr replied to his father with a wry smile, knowing that what his father said was true.
Then, he sped through the green forest, heading towards the center where the disciple examination will be held.
After seeing his son leave his side, Siphyr's father smiled proudly knowing that his son will be one of the strongest in the future.
Then, his face turned gloomy, after all he was now worried about who would be succeeding to the throne.
Because all of Siphyr's siblings had no interest in it and wanted their father to remain the king.
"Should I just ask one of my wives to give birth to a son?"
With that thought in mind he left the secluded sect and returned through the space crack.
After he left, unbeknownst to him, most elders sighed in relief after sensing the powerful man leave.

Siphyr ran through the forest, his speed was astonishing considering that he hasn't cultivated even once.
It is to be expected, after all without cultivating, he was still training his body and even more so when he disappeared for a year.
After a few minutes of running through the green forest, he finally arrived in the center.
The center of the forest was a large landmass surrounded by a lake. In order to reach it, you must jumped through the rocks until you reach the landmass.
Upon arriving there, Siphyr saw many young people at his age jumping on top of the rocks to reach the large island.
Finally, after a few moments of admiring the beautiful scenery of the lake, he moved and jumped on the rocks, reaching the sandy shore of the island.
As he arrived, he saw many people heading towards a certain place near the center of the sandy beach and so he followed them.
There, he saw an old man in white robes, his beard wasn't long and his hair still had some black lines.
But no one underestimated this old man, they knew he was a sect elder of this place, and the aura surrounded him made them more sure of this.
Then, after half an hour, there was finally no one trying to reach the beach. The old man stepped forward and announced.
"Welcome, to every single one of you, specifically 807 of you youngsters aspiring to be a disciple of our sect.
Naturally our examination is quite simple and all you have to do is form a group of five.
From then on, you will need to survive until a hundred of you are left."
The examination was quite simple but if we need to survive does that mean more than 700 of us will get killed?
As the people thought of that, the old man smiled as if he knew what they were thinking, except for Siphyr who learned about this information from his father.
"No need to be afraid, you will not die. There is a formation around this island that once you get killed, you will be teleported out of the mountains.
Meaning you failed and will no longer be able to participate in the next stage.
Now then, do you have any questions?"
The old man reassured and asked, after a few moments of silence and sighs of relief, someone courageously asked the old man.
"Sect elder, you said that we will form a group of five but you said there are 807 of us, does that mean one group will have 7 or 2 members?"
"Correct, due to some circumstances we will indeed have a group of 2. However, there is no need to feel down.
After all, defeating this group of six will give you 100 luminescence points. That is if you survive until the end.
Now then, the two with the letter of recommendation please step forward."
Siphyr was curious to who his other member will be and even though there will be only two of them in the group he isn't afraid.
Instead he looked forward to it, after all one of the requirements for joining this sect is to have no cultivation.
Meaning all of his opponents will have no cultivation which makes it more advantageous to him.
That's why even though they will be hunted by people because of the points, he wasn't a bit afraid.
Also, judging that the other group member was also recommend, it means that they're at least strong or so he believed.
However, after giving the letter to the elder, the moment he looked to his side, surprised and shock filled his face.
Someone he never thought appeared in front of him and even though they were in a disguise, he knew her very well.
She was someone so lazy yet, crazily strong, one of the most talented person in the continent.
She is Diane Valentine, one of the daughters of the demon king of sloth.
Though he was the only here that knew of her.
Also, he was quite envious of her body, not only that she doesn't need do anything, she can also get stronger while at it.
As such, the physique she was born with was the most envied one in the continent, if not the whole world.
Thus, the reason Siphyr was envious of her, if he had that body, he would be able to get stronger while doing nothing.
But there is a side effect just like Siphyr's body which made his envy disappear.
The side effect is simple, she will become lazy as hell.
That's why Siphyr was surprised she had the motivation to join a sect.
"Diane...."
"Siphyr...."
The two muttered each other's names as they stared at each other's disguise, one with black hair and the other with an average face while having long wavy white hair.
