Chapter 22: Chapter Twenty-Two: The Murderer.

"What? Jamal?" Why… Why would he do such a thing to me? no, maybe someone is just trying to frame him about this whole situation" I need to go show this to Mom and Dad." Valentino went out to find his parents and there they were seated in the lobby, with my Dad's arm crossed over to his wife's body in a comfortable way.

"Mom.''They turned over to find Valentino standing like a raucous animal with tears in his eyes. Mrs. Annabelle rushed over to him and dragged him to a seat.

"Baby, stop crying, the police are doing everything in their power to make sure that they found Elizabeth and they will trust me. We just have to stay strong and I promise that Elizabeth will be fine and things will get better, OK?" She was already crying even more than Valentino, Mr. Daniel noticed that everything his wife had said only made Valentino cry more than comfort him.

"Son.? What is the problem? Did you receive any news and call from anybody or even a text message."Mr. Daniel had spouted to be able to look at Valentino well.

"Dad.? Jamal texted me."

"Don't worry, forget about your brother, we can talk to him some other time."

Valentino took out his phone and handed it over to his Dad. At first, he refused to take the phone but just some persuasive look from Valentino finally got him to look into the phone. Mr. Daniel became speechless, the phone dropped out of his hands almost immediately after he discovered the content of the message. Seeing his father react this way broke Valentino's heart all the more.

"Valentino, listen, I know your brother has not been himself for some time now and he has been struggling with this mental stuff from his last incident but trust me this is not true, this can't be."Mr. Daniel was trying so hard to convince himself and his son to but it wasn't working and he was starting to blab. So now the only way left is to rush over to the address Jamal had sent. They took off, and while in the car Mr. Daniel called some police stations to tell them about the situation at hand and they all followed suit to the address.

Getting there everywhere was deserted and it was a beach house so no one could expect more. Valentino couldn't wait so he rushed out and went straight into the house. Before the police had followed, he had already wrecked the place but couldn't find Elizabeth only to find pictures of her being crashed. Valentino stumbled to the ground and before they knew what was happening, He had a panic attack, became unconscious, and was rushed immediately to the hospital.

The night was here and it had been 7 hours since Valentino fell unconscious at the beach house but was now in the hospital. The doctor had examined him and told his parents that he went through a panic attack and from now on they were advised to make Valentino stay away from anything that could cause him another panic.

"Mom. Elizabeth. Mom. Elizabeth." Valentino woke up with only two people on his mind which he tried calling unto them and fortunately, Mrs. Annabelle was right there.

"Yes baby, I am here baby. Do you need anything? I can get you anything."

"Mom, where is Elizabeth? You guys found her right? How is she? Is she ok? Mom, talk to me, "Why are you crying?" Valentino was at the edge of tears."So it wasn't a bad dream? Elizabeth…!!No. Hell No" He was losing it, his mind was going a bit out of his body.

"Baby please calm down, Doctor..!"Mrs. Annabelle screamed immediately, and nurses and a doctor came dashing into the room, seeing the situation the doctor ordered some male nurses to be able to pin Valentino down so he could be injected.

Mrs. Annabelle, not knowing what to do, fell to the ground and cried her heart out. She couldn't stop crying seeing his son going through almost the same but in a more hurtful way than his brother did. Wait. What? Is Jamal still worthy to be called a brother.? No way. But anyway, that wasn't a decision for Mrs. Annabelle decided, so let's drop that. While all this happened Alice only stood there invisible and confused as well.

Mr. Daniel had gone to the police station after Jamal was caught on his way to the airport and was taken to the station. Jamal didn't even look like someone who did something. No. Someone who killed a person. A Murderer. He smiled at the station and even still at the point of interrogation he still smiled and didn't even deny cutting Elizabeth with a knife all over her body and drowning her on the beach.

After a few months, came the day Jamal was to be released from prison. There were no great charges against him because the court had said it to be a psychopath incident. So instead of a life imprisonment sentence, it was from the prison Jamal was sent to a psychiatric hospital.

As for Valentino, he stayed indoors those few months Jamal was in prison, he stayed indoors and mourned his beloved Elizabeth. The whole thing got to his brain so he lived as an antisocial and alert of people that came close to him. He shut everyone out" Who would believe that my brother killed my fiance just because he had lost his."These were words that came to Valentino's mind each time he remembered Jamal or Elizabeth.

"Mom, tell me that Jamal isn't coming at me again."Valentino was shivering. Alice had never known she was going to see this side of Valentino in her entire life but this wasn't a joke. Valentino is sick and he's falling out of place.

"What could this be about?" Alice asked herself. Her brains were all over the place." I mean who is this Jamal guy that makes Valentino this miserable.?" Yet she asked her head and no answers came.

"ALICE..!!" Mrs. Annabelle called Alice out of her mind thinking "What is on your mind that you can't even hear me call you.?"

"Nothing… Nothing. I.."

"Can we talk outside?"

"Yea.., sure." Alice followed Mrs. Annabelle outside the room just in the aisle.

"I know you must have a lot of questions to ask but trust me I will fill in those spaces just in time right now all we need to do is focus on Valentino for now and make sure he gets better and after that, I will come find you. Ok?" Alice was a bit confused but played along anyway.

"OK Mrs. Annabelle"
