Mateo woke up, blinked in confusion, wondering if last night events were a dream, but the pain from below reminded him — this was definitely not a dream!

"Damn it!" He mentally cursed Landon and glared at him grilling meat.

Landon tossed him a piece of freshly cooked meat, and Mateo bit into it fiercely.

Landon stood up, dusted himself off, and began to pack up: "Take a rest for a bit, don't worry, it didn't split open."

"What the hell! Crushed the bone of the meat in one bite."
