Chapter 22: Fate

Over my dead body! I wanted to scream but then I remembered what Aviana had said.

I should be on my good behavior.

"Can I please be free to go now?" I asked him.

He tossed a lose strand of my hair away from my face and said. "No. You can't. Not until i deem it fit."

Then his eyes darted to the untouched food beside me.

"You didn't eat." He said.

I was frustrated!

Here I was tied to a bed and delaying time while he asked me about food.

I used my free hand to toss the tray down on the floor.

All it's content came scattering down, unfortunately they had not touched him.

He was up in a second and with a speed that I hadn't even noticed, he stood by a different side of the room.

His wings still neatly tucked behind his back.

"People beg for food." He remarked.

"I want to go home!" I snapped.
