Chapter 74: Oyakodon

The moment that Alex walked Mimi to his vehicle, her mouth opened wide in excitement as she expressed her interest in the man's ride. 

"Wow! Is this your car? How can you afford such a thing as a bodyguard?" 

Alex obviously was not going to say that he stole such a spectacular vehicle from a woman far more wealthy than himself. There were some women that such a thing would impress, but an innocent soul like Mimi was not one of them. And thus he made up a lie on the spot. 

"I work for some pretty wealthy individuals, and they pay me well enough. Here, let me get the door for you."

After saying that Alex opened the door for Mimi, who gasped at the unique way which the hypercar's door opened. She then sat down in the passenger seat and let Alex shut the door behind her. Where the young woman proceeded to attach her seat belt.
