The room was dimly lit, and the sound of rain tapping against the windowpane formed a soothing backdrop to Ariel's captivity. She had been in this room for nearly four days now, confined to a lifeless existence. The rain outside mirrored the heavy, oppressive atmosphere within.

Ariel's only solace during these days had been the books she'd managed to accumulate. It was unusual for her to read this voraciously, but the forced confinement left her with little choice. She turned her attention away from the window to find Lorelei, reclined in an unusual and somewhat uncomfortable position – upside down. It was no wonder the elf wasn't feeling well.

"Lorelei, are you fine?" Ariel inquired, genuinely concerned for her well-being.

Lorelei responded with a barely audible groan, "I am not fine. I am not used to staying in one place for so long, and I have overstayed my welcome in this room."
