"Lu Heng!" Wen Guanjie spotted him and strode over, with Duan Yi feeling a headache as he followed suit.

"Mr. Wen," Lu Ren greeted when he saw Wen Guanjie, quickly deducing the purpose of his visit. As expected, Wen Guanjie wasted no time in questioning him.

Amid the watchful eyes of many teachers, Lu Heng, who cared about his reputation, responded, "Mr. Wen, I noticed that Tang Qiao was studying the university chemistry textbook, so I suggested she give the Chemistry Olympiad a try. Besides, Tang Qiao agreed to it willingly. As educators, should we not encourage our students to advance?"

Wen Guanjie remained skeptical of Lu Heng's explanation and maintained a stern expression. "But Tang Qiao's primary focus is on the municipal preliminaries. The Chemistry Olympiad could be a distraction. To be honest, it's not common for students to participate in two Olympiads; typically, only the top students in key provincial high schools attempt it."

Lu Heng's dissatisfaction was evident as he responded casually, "Mr. Wen, do you doubt our chemistry department's capability? Tang Qiao possesses the aptitude, so she applied for two subjects. Furthermore, the school selection serves as a preliminary round for the Olympiad. Tang Qiao must excel in the school selection, securing a top-three position, before continuing to the next level. If she fails to make the top three, she can then concentrate on preparing for the Math Olympiad. Moreover, Tang Qiao willingly agreed to this arrangement, so there's no need for concern."

Wen Guanjie's anger was palpable as he huffed and glared at Lu Heng. "Well, I'll talk to Tang Qiao myself!"

Duan Yi promptly intervened. "Wait, Mr. Wen, please don't hurry. Tang Qiao just requested a leave of absence. She won't be attending class this afternoon."

"What?!" Wen Guanjie was taken aback.

Lu Heng simply shrugged.

Duan Yi couldn't help but feel perplexed. What is going on?

Meanwhile, Tang Qiao had requested leave to check out houses. At 2:00 PM, she changed into a light pink dress and tied her hair up, exposing her fair, plump forehead. She glanced at herself in the mirror and decided to let her hair down. Tied up her hair appeared too youthful and lacked maturity—perhaps not the best look when inspecting properties.

Tang Qiao untied her hair and bid farewell to Jiang You. "I'm heading to Cui Yuan Estate to view some houses."

"Alright."

At the coffee shop near the entrance of Cui Yuan Estate, a man in a suit eagerly awaited her. As soon as Tang Qiao approached, his gaze fixed on her, and he approached her with enthusiasm. "Are you Miss Tang Qiao? I'm Zhang Sanping."

"Hello," Tang Qiao greeted.

Zhang Sanping appeared to be in his forties, exuding a composed demeanor. He was the real estate agent Tang Qiao had contacted. The two of them entered the cafe, and Zhang Sanping inquired, "What would you like to drink, Miss Tang?"

Tang Qiao ordered a cup of coffee, and Zhang Sanping retrieved two documents from his briefcase. "Miss Tang, we've familiarized ourselves with your preferences. After some screening, we've selected two properties that should suit you, one in Cui Yuan Estate and the other in Xing Jia Villa. If you're ready to view them, I can take you there. The price is negotiable."

"Alright." Tang Qiao nodded.

After drinking their coffee, Zhang Sanping led Tang Qiao into the residential area. Both Xing Jia Villa and Cui Yuan Estate were upscale neighborhoods known for their privacy and security. The lush greenery in Cui Yuan Estate was particularly impressive, with verdant foliage adorning the surroundings and creating a serene ambiance.

Zhang Sanping guided Tang Qiao to a small bungalow, which exuded a charming French aesthetic. Green vines gracefully adorned the beige structure, lending it an exquisite appearance.

Tang Qiao briefly glanced at it and then looked away. "Mr. Zhang, I believe I've already mentioned my budget," she reminded him. The villa seemed to be beyond her price range.

Zhang Sanping offered a reassuring smile. "Miss Tang, please trust me. We are committed to finding the most cost-effective housing for our clients."

Tang Qiao raised an eyebrow but refrained from further comment. She followed Zhang Sanping into the villa.

The interior design of the villa was equally impressive. It featured predominantly light colors, creating a fresh and airy atmosphere. The plush sofas and stylish furnishings adorned the space. Even the carpet, floor lamps, and murals contributed to the overall aesthetic appeal.

Tang Qiao pulled back the curtains to reveal a small flower bed outside the window, with flowers gently swaying in the breeze. The charming villa exuded an air of elegance and leisure that immediately captivated Tang Qiao's heart.

Upon observing Tang Qiao's expression closely, Zhang Sanping shared, "The owner of this property is a friend of our company's owner. Currently, our company is responsible for renting it."

Tang Qiao inquired, "How much is the rental?"

Zhang Sanping hesitated briefly before responding, "Well... Fifteen thousand yuan."
