Chapter 5: First Scheme

Helena couldn't suppress her emotions as fear and regret gripped her. "I knew it, I was supposed to stay at home," she thought inwardly. "Bad father, sending your daughter into the lion's den," Helena's mind echoed with complaints, while Indah valiantly defended against the impact caused by the powerful beast.

"My lady, keep calm," Indah urged, attempting to reassure the terrified Helena. The situation was dire—facing a Level 3 beast was undeniably dangerous. Helena's mind raced, wondering why such a dangerous creature could be found in this place.

"Open the formation!" shouted the captain of the guards, his voice cutting through the chaos.

Eight guards moved swiftly to their assigned positions, each producing a magical book and chanting the incantations of a formation spell. The rest of the guards worked to restrain the gorilla, waiting for the formation to be activated.

One of the guards invoked a spell, shouting, "Water Slash!" A massive surge of water slashed toward the beast, striking it forcefully. But the attack proved futile; the beast's defenses were ten times greater than that of a normal person of the same level due to its innate nature.

"The formation is ready," the captain announced.

Chains suddenly emerged from eight different directions, wrapping around the gorilla's arms, neck, and legs—a Level 3 Chain spell.

The gorilla was now immobilized, but it wasn't going down without a fight. With a powerful punch, it shattered the ground and broke the formation.

"How can that be? It's so strong!" the guards exclaimed in disbelief.

"Lady Helena, please evacuate. We will hold it back," the captain commanded.

Helena hesitated, torn between concern for her people and her own safety. Just as she was about to protest, Indah grabbed her arm, urging, "We need to go."

"Helena, no! Stop! My army!" she cried out, her heart aching for her guards.

However, Indah's quick thinking snapped her back to reality. Helena felt her arm being pulled as they retreated. "We have to leave," Indah insisted, a sense of urgency in her voice.

Amid the chaos, the gorilla seemed to react to Helena's cries. It lunged at her and unleashed a devastating punch, emitting a dark aura that surged towards her. Acting swiftly, Indah summoned her verdant skill, a defensive ability that formed a protective shield.

From the ground, a shield emerged, intercepting the gorilla's attack just in time. "We need to go! We can't handle this!" Indah shouted, her determination evident.

With a thousand words left unspoken and a few extra details here and there, the dire situation intensified. The monstrous gorilla beast continued to wreak havoc, and the fate of everyone involved remained uncertain.

As the intense struggle unfolded, the rain intensified, soaking the forest and turning the ground into a muddy mess. The relentless downpour added to the chaotic scene, making footing slippery and visibility limited. Thunder rumbled in the distance, and sudden flashes of lightning illuminated the surroundings, casting eerie shadows that danced among the trees.

The clash between the guards and the monstrous gorilla continued amidst this tempestuous backdrop. The deafening sound of raindrops pounding against leaves and earth blended with the roars of the beast and the shouts of the guards. Each flash of lightning briefly revealed the grim expressions of those battling for their lives, etching the scene into their memories with haunting clarity.

Despite their valiant efforts, the guards were losing ground. The beast's brute strength and supernatural resilience were overwhelming, and with each strike, the defenders were pushed back further. The once-imposing army of a hundred had been whittled down, casualties mounting. Only twenty guards remained, and they were battered and worn.

Among the chaos, Helena and Indah sought cover behind a large fallen tree. Their breath came in ragged gasps as they huddled together, trying to catch their breaths amidst the mayhem. Helena's eyes were wide with fear, her heart aching for the loss of her loyal guards. "We can't just stand by. We have to do something," she whispered to Indah, her voice wavering.

Indah's eyes were resolute as she glanced at the remaining guards who were putting up a desperate struggle. "We'll find a way, my lady. But right now, our safety is paramount. We need to regroup and come up with a plan." Her voice carried a mix of determination and concern.

The rain showed no signs of abating, and the lightning continued to slice through the sky with blinding brilliance. Each thunderclap felt like a powerful reminder of the battle's intensity, echoing the turmoil in the hearts of those involved.

Among the chaos and destruction, the once-pristine forest had transformed into a war zone. Trees had been uprooted, and the very ground seemed to tremble under the force of the ongoing battle. The air was heavy with tension, charged with the raw energy of combat.

Not far away, Diaz pondered, recalling the complement Indah's abilities had received for holding back the beast. As he considered the situation, he couldn't help but think of the potential consequences of intervening.

'That's not a good idea. If I help them, not only will they not be grateful, but it might also escalate the situation, turning Polimex into a war zone. The deaths of these warriors could be used as justification for other kingdoms to attack. Judging from their attire, they might be from the Tual Kingdom. Furthermore, the mastermind behind all this might achieve their goal.

Realizing that saving them might not be the best option, Diaz's mind started to work on an alternative approach. He found himself smirking at his own thoughts. 'To control oneself, one has to sacrifice something.'

"Book," Diaz muttered, and from his invisible ring emerged a skill book – a Heavenly Skill Book. He chuckled to himself, acknowledging that being wealthy did have its advantages. He remembered his well-off mother, though the ring itself was a mere trinket, a 200-golden gift from his thrifty father.

As he opened the book, a radiant light burst forth, and a core materialized, pulling together the surrounding elements to form a gargantuan figure – a Gargantua, a mythical gorilla beast from folklore. Known for being exhibited by the Ringling Brothers circus, and become so strong that it been capture by my mother and trap and slave into the skill book. This gargantuan was far larger than the beast that had run amok in Helena's territory, a true Level 4 Beast Spell.

Diaz felt a sudden wave of weakness wash over him. He cursed silently, recognizing that this spell had consumed a staggering 80% of his power. He realized he was still quite weak in the grand scheme of things.

'And what is this Gargantua for? To save the damsel in distress? Of course not...'

"Gargantua, kidnap that rich lady woman," Diaz commanded, his thoughts sharp and calculated.

Then without Hesitation, Gargantua goes to The ambush Zone.

He leaned back, a wicked grin spreading across his face. 'Let's see how you handle this, the knight women. I'll make sure this battle gets even more interesting.'
