Chapter 2: One night stand.

Cara woke up early the next morning, feeling exhausted and drained from the long, sleepless night. She knew that she had to make a decision soon, and she couldn't put it off any longer. Taking a deep breath, she picked up her phone to call Scarlett.

"Hey, Scarlett," Cara muttered after a yawn, her voice trembling slightly. "I've thought about what you said, and I've made a decision."

"What is it? Are you going to do it?" Her voice was filled with anticipation.

Cara hesitated for a moment.

"Yes, I…I'll do it. I don't see any other way out. My mother needs the money, and I'm willing to take the risk."

Scarlett sighed deeply in relief.

"Thank goodness you made the right choice. You won't regret it, I promise you."

"So…what's next?"

"Dominic usually goes to a five-star hotel to relax every weekend. He's bound to want to spend his night with a pretty damsel." she chuckled mischievously. "I will give you the address to the hotel where he'll go and you'll tell the receptionist that you're the girl he's spending the night with. You will be led to his room where you will wait for him."

"You're..not coming with me? I thought you'd introduce me to him at least." Cara's voice was filled with so much worry as she spoke.

"Cara, I'm sorry. I wish I could be there with you, but I just received an emergency call from my boss. I have to go out of town for an important meeting. It's erm…business related."

Cara's heart sank. She was counting on Scarlett's support, but she understood the situation. However, her fears lingered. The thought of sleeping with a stranger made her sick to her stomach. She had never done anything like this before, and the idea was just too unsettling.

'This is a huge risk….what if something goes wrong? What if I get hurt?' she thought worriedly.

"It's alright, Scarlett. I'll figure it out on my own..."

"Wait, before I go, I need to give you the address to the hotel where you'll meet Dominic." Scarlett quickly interjected, "It's at Montrose Hotel, located at 555 Park Avenue, Suite 2000. The room number is 403. Time's nine am sharp on Saturday. Don't be late, and be careful, okay?"

Cara's eyes widened at the mention of Montrose. It was one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotels in the city. She felt a sense of unease settle in her stomach. She knew that this was a risky move, but she couldn't let her mother suffer any longer. Scarlett sensed her fears and laughed.

"Will you relax girl? Everything will be fine, I promise. Just chill, okay? I will have everything sorted out for you to make it easier, don't worry."

Sighing, Cara feigned a smile.

"Alright then. I…I trust you."

She hung up the phone and tossed it on the bed, pacing the room and trying to remain calm.

'I can get through with this. It's going to be as if it never happened…in a few weeks I'll forget everything…' She tried to console herself.

Cara arrived at the Montrose Hotel, her heart pounding with anticipation and nerves. She took a deep breath and stepped inside, trying her best to exude confidence. As she made her way to the elevator, her eyes were drawn to the lavish decor of the hotel. The crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead, and the marble floors gleamed underfoot. Cara couldn't help but feel intimidated by the opulence surrounding her.

As Cara stepped out of the elevator, she was met by a hotel staff member who led her to Dominic's hotel room. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she waited for him to arrive. Suddenly, the door opened, and in walked Dominic, dressed in a black tuxedo that hugged his tall and muscular frame perfectly. His cold and dominant demeanor was palpable, making Cara feel even more intimidated.

Dominic was devastatingly handsome, with sharp, chiseled facial features that exuded a commanding presence. His piercing blue eyes bore into her, almost as if he were daring her to challenge him. His hair was slicked back, giving him a dangerous and mysterious look. He wore a black tie that contrasted with his white shirt, emphasizing his broad shoulders and toned physique.

Cara couldn't help but notice how sensual he looked, with a hint of stubble lining his strong jawline. His lips were full and firm, and Cara found herself wondering how they would feel against her own. But she knew better than to entertain such thoughts. Dominic was not a man to be trifled with.

He barely acknowledged her presence, his gaze sweeping over her in a cold and calculating manner. "Hello, Cara," he said in a deep and commanding voice. "I'm glad you could make it."

Cara's heart pounded with fear as she stood frozen under the icy gaze of his emotionless eyes. The silence was suffocating, and she couldn't endure much more of it. She knew that spending the night with him for the money was an option, but she couldn't back down now. To save her poor mother, was a sacrifice she was willing to make. The thought of being alone with him made her skin crawl, and she couldn't help but wonder what he was capable of. However, she wasn't willing to find out.

The tension in the air was thick and intimidating. The way he was looking at her made her feel exposed and vulnerable like he was peeling away her layers one by one. She couldn't bear the thought of being alone with him, of being at his mercy. She wished above all that the earth would give way to devour her, but it was never going to happen.

"Wait here," he said in a calm but commanding tone. "I need to shower."

Cara nodded, her voice shaking with fear as she watched him disappear behind the bathroom door. She stood there, feeling vulnerable and exposed, unsure of what to expect.

After what felt like an eternity, the bathroom door opened, and Dominic emerged, steam still curling around his muscular frame. He was rather cold and dominant, with a stern expression on his face that made her feel both scared and excited.

"Would you like a drink?" he asked, his voice cutting through the silence.

Cara politely refused, afraid of what might happen if she let her guard down. She watched as he poured himself a glass of whiskey, savoring the slow, deliberate movements of his hands.

"Undress," he commanded, his voice low and husky. "Slowly, so I can watch."

Cara hesitated for a moment, but the look in his eyes made it clear that he was not to be disobeyed. She slowly began to unbutton her blouse, feeling his gaze on her every move. As she revealed more and more of her skin, she could feel her body responding to his cold, dominant presence.

"Good girl," he murmured, his voice sending shivers down her spine. "Now take that thing off," he uttered, pointing at her brasserie.

Cara complied, feeling his eyes on her bare chest as she stood there, exposed and vulnerable. She could feel the heat of his gaze, even as his demeanor remained cold and distant.

"You are mine tonight," he uttered, his voice like a whip crack. "And I will do with you as I please."
