Chapter 25: 25. Valeria's Transformation

The next morning, Valeria woke up to a soft knock on the door. It was so noiseless that Valeria wondered how long he had been standing by the door. With every effort she could make, she quickly tended to her face to make some minor adjustments by the mirror side.

Then, she walked forward to the door. Jose was standing outside and it looked like he had been waiting a while. He was on a robe with his hair pulled backwards with a band.

"Are you a coffee person?" He asked, softly.

Valeria nodded. "Black coffee, please." 

"Coming right up. But please, we need to leave in the next one hour. We don't wanna be late for work." Jose said, then walked away.

Deep down, Valeria couldn't believe that it had been just the two of them in the whole house!
