Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Getting Fame in the Sect

Jiang Lei arrived at the vast outer sect area, where many other disciples were practicing their martial arts.

The sect was very well decorated as the Inner sect competition was approaching.

As he gently placed the massive monster's body on the ground, the sudden sight of such a colossal creature drew the attention of disciples.

Disciples stopped their training looked at Jiang Lei, surprised by the giant creature.

A group of curious disciples gathered in a circle around Jiang Lei and the massive monster. They stared at the creature with amazement and curiosity. It is very rare to see such a sight in the outer door of the Azure Sky Sect.

Seeing, so many disciples gathered around him, Jiang Lei felt a little nervous, he cleared his throat and managed an awkward smile. "Um, excuse me, everyone. I need to head to the mission hall. Could you please make a way for me?"

The disciples, still curious about the situation, subconsciously parted to create a path for Jiang Lei.

"Thanks," Jiang Lei said with a hint of relief, and then he quickly hurried away from the scene.

After Jiang Lei had left the area, disciples finally came to their senses, they looked at each other with questioning eyes, all had same questions in their eyes.

The environment remained silent for a moment before it broke into the heated discussion.

"What's going on here? Who's that young kid with this huge monster?"

"You are asking me, whom should I ask?"

"Looking at this monster's size, it should be at least at the Qi Condensation Realm."

"You mean he killed a Qi Condensation monster?"

"It seems so."

"It's hard to believe. Someone as young as him killing a monster of this size?

As the discussions continued among the disciples, a voice suddenly spoke up, catching their attention.

"I know him."

All the disciples turned to look at the owner of the voice.

On who said was none other than Wei Chen, who had stopped Jiang Lei to meet Li Xun.

Seeing, everyone's curious gaze, Wei Chen spoke in a mysterious tone, "Do you all know about Jiang Lei who is gaining popularity in our sect recently?"

One of the disciples responded, "Are you talking about Jiang Lei, the one who helped Senior Brother Li to find the sword?"

Wei Chen nodded, "Yes, that's him. I was the one who stopped Brother Jiang from meeting Senior Brother Li that day. I can't believe he's so strong."

He said with both fearful and respectful voice.

"Yes, he's actually very strong. I don't think that he should be much weaker than Senior Brother Li."

Wei Chen said in a sad tone, "Indeed, now that I think about that day, I really want to slap myself. I tried to stop him, thinking that he just wanted to grab brother Lei's attention."

"You have actually provoked him!" Many were shocked, Jiang Lei is a new rising stars, they can't even afford to be his enemy.

"You should apologize to him. What if he holds a grudge against you?" A kind hearted disciple advised him.

"Do you think I would still be okay, if he had held any grude against me?" Wei Chen said mockingly.

"But you are right, I can't take the chance, I should apologize to him."

"It's not your fault, really. I don't understand why Brother Jiang is still unknown within our sect. Considering his talent, he should be at least one of the top ten geniuses in our sect."

Another added, "No, I think you are wrong, he should be among the top five geniuses. Don't forget that the resources top ten geniuses recieve, and most importantly, they get guidance from elders."

"Considering his humble background, he probably doesn't even have enough spirit stones to cultivate."

"But why did he choose to remain unknown? With his talent, he can easily obtain everything we can only dream of," A disciple asked, puzzled.

Someone else speculated, "I think he's trying to keep a low profile for the inner sect competition, and then suddenly show up to catch the attention of the elders."

"Whatever it is, we can't afford to provoke him." One disciple said with fear in his voice.

Another quickly agreed, saying, "Yes, even if someone beat me to death, I won't dare to provoke him."

They gazed at the massive body of the monster, fear and admiration clearly visible in their eyes. Jiang Lei's talents were far beyond their reach, they don't even have the ability to get jealous of him, they could just respect and dream of being like him.

The news of Jiang Lei and the massive monster spread quickly among the outer sect disciples. They were amazed and confused by the sight of such a young person bringing in such a huge creature.

"Wow, he must be really strong!"

"I heard that his name is Jiang Lei!"

"Did you hear? He's only sixteen!"

"Sixteen? That's hard to believe!"

"It's an another genius in our outer sect now, I am very ashamed now!"

Jiang Lei's name started to become known in the outer sect, and people had mixed feelings about him. Some were impressed by his strength, while others were unsure and jealous thinking there might be more to the story.
