Chapter 44: Biomes I - Paradise and Cloud Biome

The next order of business was the biomes. These were things that Hades had to plan out before he built a few things. He knew that the Underworld had no limit and would grow larger over time. This allowed him to space the biomes out and make them ginormous. Each biome was almost as large as a planet ... for now. As the Underworld grew, Hades could have the biomes grow as well, if he so wished.

What were some of these biomes?

The first one and also the one that existed throughout the Underworld was called 'the Nether'. This was the base state. It had many similarities to the Nether from Minecraft but there was more to it. Apart from all the fungi, netherrack, soulsand and of course lava, there were also landscapes made of bones, poisonous lakes, volcanos and more. Hades also added many materials from all around fiction. But he took the ones that could be dangerous out again. No need for them to get into the Blacksmiths hands unless she was present and observed their work.

Apart from the base state of the Underworld, there were biomes that Hades had especially planted. One such example was the 'Paradise Biome'. This biome was heavily influenced by One Piece. He always admired the art that Oda put into his manga. The 'Paradise Biome' was based on water for the most part. Wide oceans and dangerous waters awaited you there. There was actually a different climate inside this biome that allowed ships to sail from one place to the other.

The main living areas were many tropical islands. It was possible to acquire an island and build on it. The number of islands there were? No one except Hades knew and he could tell you that it was enough.

On many islands, there were special flora and fauna to be found. Animals that could either be normal to mystical beasts should you wish to live with one. Each island had a port already built. It was not big, however, so should you want to buy a big boat or multiple boats, you had to extend the pier yourself.

The 'Paradise Biom' had a taxi service. It was called the 'Sea Train'. The name was obviously taken from One Piece as well. If you wished, you could sign up for a subscription and then the Sea Train would come to your island whenever you wished. It was possible to have the Train not come to your island for a few days when you are truly trying to relax.

After boarding such a Sea Train, it would bring you to wherever you wished. If nothing special was said, it would take you to the 'CrossShip'. This was an island from where you could sail anywhere in the 'Paradise Biome'.

What else could you do in the 'Paradise Biome'?

There were many things to do. Swimming, diving, deep sea diving, sightseeing, taking U-boats to discover many creatures that live deep down, visiting tourist islands and more. One such tourist attraction was called 'Water World'. This island was one . big . waterpark. That's right. There was nothing quite like it.

.

There were:

- Water slides in various shapes and sizes, including body slides, tube slides, and raft slides. They included twists, turns, and drops, providing thrilling experiences for visitors. And most of them ended in the sea, where inflatables would pick you up and get you back.

- Wave pools that simulate ocean-like waves, allowing visitors to swim or float in a controlled environment. There were Lazy Rivers, for those who rather enjoyed slow-moving, meandering water channels.

- Kiddie Pools: These shallow pools are designed for young children and often feature miniature slides, water sprays, and interactive play structures that are safe and age-appropriate.

- Water playgrounds: Interactive play areas with fountains, water jets, buckets that dump water, and various water features for kids to enjoy.

- FlowRiders, Dive Pools, Water cannons, etc.

And of course, there were also Food and Beverage facilities to be found all around the island that offered special foods from all across the world and the Universe and Multiverse.

Cabanas and lounge areas could be found to allow parents to sunbathe and relax should they wish to take a break. And then there were also locker rooms that were more like Hotel rooms. They were that large and visitors got keys for the rooms to go back anytime they wished.

.

.

Let us leave Water World and talk about the last thing that was important in the 'Paradise Biome'. It was an island called 'Water Dining'. This special island was mostly a restaurant that also had a hotel. It was a place that offered couples a good time. The food was divine and fish-themed. You could get every fish there was on the island. No matter what, if it was a fish dish, you could order it. Apart from that there were also alcoholic-non-alcoholic drinks.

This was Hades creating a drink that tasted like the alcoholic variant but didn't have alcohol inside. He didn't like it but you never know.

The 'island' of Water dining was made up of 8 giant pillars. Inside those pillars, the hotel, 'Paradise Hotel' is located. To get to the reception of the hotel and also to the restaurant, you must first arrive by boat on the welcome land that was the only actual land of 'Water Dining'. From there you would descend by elevators that take you to the entrance hall of 'Paradise Hotel'. Guests of the hotel will find their breakfast buffet on this floor. The walls are made of see-through diamonds. Hades put some work into creating this special material. It was diamond-glass. A material that allowed guests to watch the sealife as they ate.

The hotel rooms were all located inside the pillars. All the rooms looked the same as they were top quality. Apart from rooms, there were also gyms and spas to be found in the towers. Everything was made to give guests the best time.

If you take the elevator and press the 300th floor, which is the top floor, you arrive at the entrance to the restaurant for which 'Water Dining' is famous for. It only serves lunch and dinner. A small path takes you to the centre atop the island from where you have marvellous views and can enjoy the best food that 'Paradise Biome' has to offer.

Let us talk about the next biome. This biome was called the 'Cloud Biome'. And just as the name would suggest it was a biome that was situated above the clouds. Hades bilt this once again thinking about One Piece. Everything that wanted to come here had to go by boat. The entrance to the Cloud Biome was a very big Station which floated on clouds. You would take the Ender Portal to come to this Station and then would be given one of many boats.

This time it was not possible to use any sort of motor vehicle. No trains, motor boats, planes or anything like that. The top priority in the 'Cloud Biome' was peace and quiet. This did not mean that you couldn't have fun, it just meant that usually the 'Cloud Biome' was a place of healing.

After getting a sailing boat, you would begin the journey towards the gate that protected the 'Cloud Biome'. Every Biome has such a gate, but the 'Cloud Biome' has a very notable one. It was called Heaven's Gate and looked just like the one from One Piece.

After passing the Heaven's Gate, there lay the different districts before you. One of the notable districts was the Health District. As the name would suggest, this district has everything that can help your health. It is an ironic district to have inside the Underworld, but Hades liked it this way and so it shall be.

The health district had Hospitals, clinics, and more. Here you could have anything treated. From a broken arm or being sick up to cancer or missing limbs. Nothing was impossible here. Psychiatries could be found with psychiatrists who were interested in seeing your problems solved and not in ripping you off.

(Picture of Health district)

.

It was possible to live in the Health District, but only if you were a patient in any of the available facilities. Health increase was guaranteed 100% and you would leave happier and healthier than ever before.

A special place for children was created, with what was called the 'Cloud Castle'. This was every parent's dream playground. Why was it the dream for the parents you ask? Because everything was made out of clouds. There was no chance of hurting yourself there. Did you fall off the top of the castle? Don't worry, a cloud will wait for you on the ground. It was ingenious.

Another district in the 'Cloud Biome' was of course the living arrangements. There were many such places available and also a hotel for the tourists or visitors that came from another biome. These houses and hotels were located in Lovely Street. Once again stealing from Echiro Oda and using his creation for himself. But did Hades care? No. He was an evil man through and through.

All clouds inside the 'Cloud Biome' had calming effects on people. It had soothing effects to just lie down on one of those clouds and take your mind off things. A truly evil god he was indeed.

.

And as it is custom for all of the Biomes there was also a restaurant/hotel to be found in the 'Cloud Dimension'. It was lazily called Sky Hotel and Restaurant.

Similar to the Paradise Hotel in the 'Paradise Biome' the Sky Hotel had everything you could want of a hotel situated in many domes. These domes were situated around a larger dome that spawned a big tree on top of it. This centre dome was the restaurant and after every dinner, it was possible to climb on top of the tree and watch the Chinese lanterns that could be bought and sent into the sky, illuminating it and granting a nice spectacle.
