Chapter 270: Chapter 270: Debut of Hidan

At this point, Charles Doyle, originally a killer, once again broke the traditions of the High Table. He ascended to become the leader of this vast organization, establishing himself as the king of the underworld.

The name Charles Doyle resurfaced on the information networks of major forces.

...

On the other side-

Africa – Kenya:

Hidan, carrying his weapon, traversed the desert, finally arriving at a village.

"What kind of place is this? It's all desert everywhere, comparable to the Wind Country."

"Darn it, I didn't bring the organization's hat when I came over. I miscalculated."

"Speaking of which, I've been teaming up with Kakuzu for so long. Suddenly, he's not around, and it feels a bit uncomfortable. Without him stitching up my body, things could get troublesome."

Hidan kept muttering to himself, but his feet continued to approach the village in front of him.

At the entrance of the village stood two Black men, each holding assault rifles. Obviously, this wasn't an ordinary village, stationed in the midst of the desert.

This was a group of anti-government armed forces, commonly known as terrorists. The two guards, seeing Hidan approaching with his strange attire, raised their assault rifles, shouting loudly, "Who are you? Stop and don't come any closer."

However, what reached Hidan's ears was a series of unintelligible words.

Seeing that Hidan didn't stop, one of the guards showed a cruel smile, raised his assault rifle, and shouted, "You're not stopping? Fine, then eat bullet!"

Facing the incoming bullets, Hidan didn't even bother to pick up his weapon. He continued to walk at the same pace, simply flickering his body to dodge the bullets when they approached.

One of the guards, seeing that Hidan was unharmed, taunted his companion, "Sora, your marksmanship is terrible. It's like you're a street artist."

"Let me show you what real marksmanship is."

While speaking, the guard lifted his assault rifle, assumed a firing position, aimed at Hidan through the crosshair on the gun's body, and pulled the trigger.

"Bang!"

The sound of a bullet being fired echoed, but it was in vain. Hidan dodged the bullet again. The guard, who missed the last time, mocked his companion, "Dewa, you're at the same level. How dare you criticize me."

The man rubbed his eyes. He clearly remembered aiming accurately, and the bullets shouldn't have gone off target. Moreover, he wasn't aiming at the head but the larger target of the torso; it shouldn't have missed.

To verify his suspicion, Dewa continued to shoot. Bullets were fired one after another, quickly emptying the magazine, but it still didn't stop Hidan in the slightest.

"No, he's a ghost, a ghost..."

The initial shooting by the two guards didn't attract the attention of the personnel inside, as guarding the gate was indeed a bit monotonous.

They weren't a disciplined force. Even the guards, upon seeing desert animals, would shoot them for entertainment.

However, the continuous gunshots and Dewa's loud calls immediately attracted the attention of nearby members. Several Black, burly men carrying AK47s ran over.

"Dewa, what are you yelling about?"

At this moment, Dewa's body was trembling. In the northern desert of Kenya, there were legends of terrifying ghosts. Whenever a ghost appeared, it would bring disaster, sparing no one in its path.

"Captain Kali, a ghost, there's a ghost..."

Hearing Dewa's shouts, Kali picked up the binoculars hanging around his neck and looked towards Hidan, who was slowly approaching. Especially the strange attire and the three-section staff on his shoulder made his pupils slightly contract.

"Why are you yelling? Clearly, that's just a person. Can't you see the shadow on the ground?"

"Brothers, open fire. Turn him into minced meat for me."

As Kali spoke, the six subordinates beside him immediately raised their AK47s, aiming at Hidan in the distance and pulling the triggers.

"Da-da-da-da."

With the sound of intense gunfire, the shot bullets formed a makeshift metal net flying towards Hidan.

Seeing the incoming bullets, Hidan wasn't initially interested in playing around. With a simple leap, his figure blinked in the air, instantly crossing a distance of more than two hundred meters and appearing in front of the crowd.

"You disrespectful the evil god, you all deserve to die."

Hidan threw his three-section staff directly towards the group, and the giant scythe danced and spun in the air.

"Swish, swish, swish!"

In just one move, the eight armed militants standing at the entrance were instantly bisected at the waist.

The AK47s in their hands, along with their bodies, were sliced in half, leaving a large amount of blood on the ground. The sand beneath their feet turned red.

The instantaneous bisecting didn't cause the armed militants on the scene to die immediately. Instead, after emitting fearful cries, they slowly lost their breath.

"Ah, my intestines, my intestines."

"Devil, you're a devil..."

Hidan looked at the red blood on the ground and seemed a bit stunned. He murmured, "Their blood is also red?"

"Then why can't I understand their language? It sounds like the wailing of livestock..."

Looking at the drop of crimson blood on the three-section staff, Hidan showed a trace of disdain on his face. Instead of licking it as usual, he shook the three-section staff to get rid of the blood.

With the continued gunfire and screams, the people in the camp immediately understood that there was an enemy attack. Those who witnessed this scene immediately sounded the alarm.

The sound of the alarm echoed over the desert, and a large number of armed militants grabbed their weapons and rushed out of the tents, gathering towards the entrance.

Seeing more and more Black individuals pouring out, Hidan's face revealed a wicked smile.

"Let me help you cross over..."

"Haha, haha..."

After a hearty laugh, Hidan swung the three-section staff and charged into the camp.

Wherever he went, it was as if no one was there. No attack could keep up with Hidan's speed, let alone cause any harm. On the contrary, many armed militants died from friendly fire.

Just a few simple charges, and the terrorists in the camp were in complete chaos, completely collapsing.

Some kneeled on the ground begging, praying that Hidan would spare their lives. Some went crazy, screaming and shouting, even shooting people next to them, yelling, "Haha, this is a dream, this is a dream..."

Others directly dropped their weapons and ran out of the camp.
