Nami, Robin, And Tashigi who had been reading Ron's diary, were astonished.
It was unbelievable that the Pirate King crew's doctor was still there. They had thought that the crew of Gol D. Roger had already been captured by the World Government. After all, Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King, had already been executed, so how could any remnants still exist? Had the World Government and the Marines stopped searching?
Robin contemplated the situation and suspected there might be a hidden secret behind it. Being the ship's doctor of the Pirate King, Crocus's presence here was indeed unusual.
Tashigi on the other hand was dumbfounded, they had just come across an island whale only to end up being swallowed by it and to top it off, discover that the Doctor from the Pirate King's ship lived inside the whale.
She didn't expect something like this and she believes that at this point whatever she says will end up coming true.
"Who are you?" Crocus stepped out of the boat within Laboon's stomach, eyeing the Straw Hat Crew. It wasn't uncommon for people to end up here, as many pirate crews had become Laboon's food. However, most of them weren't polite and simply accepted their fate as Laboon's meal.
Luffy immediately stood up and proudly proclaimed his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Zoro and Sanji stood silently by his side without uttering a word.
"Hmm?" Crocus hesitated for a moment, looking at Luffy's straw hat. He noticed the resemblance between Luffy and Gol D. Roger when he had seen Roger's hat in the past. Although Roger had later given the straw hat to Shanks as a legacy, they both wore it, making Crocus briefly wonder if Roger had somehow returned.
"Oldman, what's wrong with you?" Luffy asked, puzzled by Crocus's reaction. Crocus appeared to be fixated on Luffy's straw hat.
"I'm afraid he recognized the hat," Ron interjected.
"Huh?" Luffy looked at Crocus in surprise.
"Yes, Shanks used to wear this hat when he was passing by and he told me he gave it to someone promising. But I never expected the hat to end up with that man's grandson," Crocus explained, feeling that the young man was well-informed. However, he chose not to share certain information with Luffy.
"You know Shanks?!" Luffy's excitement grew, and he rushed over to Crocus. He hadn't seen Shanks in over a decade and was eager to hear news about him.
"Of course, Shanks was a rookie pirate on my ship!" Crocus began sharing stories about Shanks, reinvigorated by the chance to reminisce.
While Luffy, Zoro, and others engaged in conversation, Ron remained lying on the boat, appearing nonchalant. He felt there was no need for him to intervene in the current situation. It seemed like things would be resolved without his direct involvement.
"Boom!!"As they chatted, the whale's gastric juices churned, causing everyone in Crocus's small house to stagger. crocus realized what was happening and administered a tranquilizer to calm Laboon.
"Oh? Looks like Vivi is planning to do something."
"Or Laboon is hitting the Red Line!"
Meanwhile, Ron continued to lie back, seemingly uninterested in the ongoing events. He believed that the Straw Hats were capable of handling the situation without his assistance.
Soon, Luffy and the others returned to the boat, watching as Crocus climbed back up
"Help!" Two figures suddenly descended from the passage, catching Crocus's attention.
His expression darkened as he recognized these individuals—two who had come up with the idea of using Laboon during this period. Although they hadn't caused any harm yet, Crocus harbored no goodwill toward them.
"Beauties?" Sanji's eyes lit up, and he became more animated. He leaped from the boat, intending to catch Vivi in mid-air.
However, another figure was quicker, jumping into the air and horizontally hugging Vivi. In a graceful arc, this figure returned to the ship.
Sanji was momentarily frozen, witnessing Ron's sudden appearance. He was about to plunge into the gastric juices below.
"Pervert Chef!" Zoro chuckled, looking down on Sanji. He believed that someone as easily distracted by women as Sanji wouldn't last long at sea.
"Um?" Sanji heard Zoro's taunt even as he fell into the water. With one hand, he grabbed Vivi, and with the other, he seized the rope on the hull, climbing back up. Determination blazed in Sanji's eyes as he resumed his chase.
While Sanji and Zoro clashed, the rest of the crew watched their rivalry with amusement. It was clear that these two had a longstanding feud.
"Miss, are you okay?" Ron asked, softly holding Vivi. Nami stood nearby, grabbing Vivi without saying a word.
Ron didn't make any effort to take Vivi back, despite his earlier complaints. He recognized the need to let Nami have her way.
"I could only touch her hands for a moment before Nami pulled her away, I couldn't even feel Vivi's temperature."
"Oh, Nami gets jealous very easily, unlike Miss Robin."
"Look how sensitive Miss Robin is."

[Nico Robin: Yeah, how could you do that? Ron's also eager to talk to who he saved.]
[Nico Robin: Ron didn't want to do anything to Princess Vivi, can't you be more sensitive?]
[Nami: Pretending to be sensitive, right?]
Nami gave Robin a hard look, not expecting Robin to make fun of her while at the same time defending that bastard.
Nami remembered Ron's initial assessment of Robin that she is black-bellied has a talent for messing with others and will say strange things from time to time.

"Yes, we are the Straw Hat Pirates," Luffy affirmed with pride. "Straw Hat? I haven't heard of it. Do you know Crocodile?" Vivi glanced at Ron, who had returned to reclining on the boat.
"I know Crocodile. You mean the Seven Warlords of the Sea?" Zoro inquired.
"That's right! I plan to gather pirates to help me overthrow Crocodile's rule in Alabasta," Vivi revealed. "I can pay you a lot of money for your help, and if you succeed, my father will reward you handsomely."
Money immediately caught Nami's attention, her eyes gleaming with the prospect of wealth. "How many pirates have you gathered so far?" Robin asked, studying Vivi's reactions.
Vivi's face turned red, and she hesitated. "You are the first."
"Are Shichibukai dangerous?"Usopp approached Zoro and asked him as he felt that the name alone was scary.
Who would come up with a name like that for a normal person?
"Is it powerful? It can be said that they are very strong!" Zoro chuckled, correcting Usopp's view of Crocodile.
He thought he hadn't seen Crocodile's real appearance.
But this guy has a lot of notoriety at sea.
"I propose that we should surrender!" Usopp stood up directly and proposed to Back Off since he didn't want to face someone so dangerous.
But the others ignored his offer and instead gathered to discuss.
And Nami and Robin arrived at Vivi's side.
The friend system is also activated and they add each other as friends.
The three opened the chat and began talking to each other.
"This time it's the same, Miss Vivi took the initiative to gather the pirates to fight Crocodile."
"She acts directly with the money offensive, but does Alabasta have money?"
"As I understand it, Alabasta does not have a single cent."

Nami, fully absorbed in the thought of money, asked about the type of Devil Fruits available. Vivi mentioned Logia, Paramecia, and Zoan types, and Nami was satisfied with the prospect.
The crew members discussed the situation among themselves, with Usopp suggesting they give up. However, the others ignored his proposal and began planning their next move.
As they continued their conversation, Ron remained lying on the boat, seemingly uninterested in the discussion. He couldn't help but overhear their exchange. Nami's strong desire for money had taken over, but he knew that eventually, the crew's friendship would lead them to support Vivi.
Crocus opened an iron gate, allowing everyone to see the light outside. They felt the joy of seeing the sun again, but their attention remained on Laboon.
"Laboon," Luffy addressed the massive whale. "Come with us, and there are many stories we can share."
Crocus suggested that they might enjoy listening to Laboon's tales, promising to withhold his explanations if they preferred to hear from Laboon himself.
As they considered Crocus's proposal, Luffy decided that they should go and confront Crocodile. He felt that taking on a Shichibukai like Crocodile would be an exciting challenge.
Upon hearing this, Zoro and Sanji also expressed their determination to fight Crocodile. Nami, on the other hand, had a different perspective, but her focus on profit quickly faded in the face of their unity.
Vivi's plea for help touched their hearts, and Luffy's simple and resolute decision led the crew to agree to assist her in reclaiming Alabasta.
As they continued their journey, Ron lay flat on the boat, seemingly indifferent to the unfolding events.
