Chapter 14: Volume Discordia - End

Somewhere in an isolated place in Eostia, one man sat down, wiping his face with a clean handkerchief and staring at the table before him. Placed on it were a few glowing crystals he had collected, and all of them were the same crystal Sir John Mandeville had used to become an archdemon.
"Dark Raven.... that bastard took away everything from me...." The man muttered, clenching his hands as his expression became that of madness. ".... My family, my treasures, my own town. Everything...."
This person was... let's just call him Mandeville II, had forced himself to grow madder and madder each day, spending his time cultivating madness he himself had spiralled himself down into.
After the death of his father at the hands of Grave Levantine, Mandeville II was given all his father's treasury and lands and even his town.
But.... Dark Raven's own activity had exposed Mandeville II's actions and he became the reason of the noble's utter downfall.
"I won't forgive him, I won't forgive him...." He kept repeating to himself, over and over again as the crystals began to glow. "I don't care what happens, I'll fucking find you and kill you! And there's only one way to find out!"
He grabbed a crystal and activated it by inserting mana to it, morphing his body to a monstrous one, but he did not stop just there, he consumed the other crystals until his body became filled with otherworldly energy.
However.....
"So this is where you were hiding, hm? Sucks to say this but, you're welcome to kill yourself, child." Jonathan spoke, under his persona of Dark Raven, appearing out of nowhere.
Mandeville II turned around and stared at him like a mindless beast, his powers growing out of control.
"Well, you see.... you'll die anyways so I'll just tell you this, I don't care what you're going to do, but I'll just make sure you die before you could give me a lot more trouble especially when I know that thousands of demons are banding up on the northern mountains to attack me and Olga, and maybe even the nearby fortresses."
While he spoke, he walked up towards the uncontrollably transforming Mandeville II, and promptly stabbed his hand towards his body before pulling it out and draining the former human's energy as quickly as possible before he could fight back.
"But anyways, thanks for consuming those crystals of the King of Archdemons, I'm having the time of my life planning on how to take over Feoh and Thorn after decimating the forces of demons from the north."
Several tentacles of pure energy manifested from Jonathan's cape, and immediately stabbed onto the flesh of the former human, increasing the speed of his energy absorption technique.
Roaring energetically, he ripped apart the former human into pieces, tossing them away to rot.
"Hmph. There's still many I must do. You will not interfere, invaders."
Jonathan leaped away, entering a portal that led him to a castle's balcony at night, kneeling down after he landed on the edge of the balcony.
He took off his mask and coat, placing them on a stand.
He also took off his armor in a moment, before he noticed Olga sitting on the side of the bed, holding their biological daughter between her arms and breastfeeding her. Chloe was also on the bed, but she was asleep.
She looked stern, in a way.
"Having your time wandering in human territory?" Olga inquired rather nonchalantly, in which Jonathan just shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah, my persona's been gaining a reputation for several months." He replied, before approaching her. "It's safe to say that will be the best thing I could do to spy around the human settlements."
"Hmph. I almost thought you were about to two-time me, but unless it's a Dark Elf like my cousin, Mistiora, I will allow you to be.... intimate with that woman."
Jonathan's eyebrows twitched for a moment.
'Seriously? I'm not complaining, but...'
"Who's Mistiora?" He asked, and Olga rubbed her chin.
"Hmmm.... She is a Dark Elf as beautiful as I. I don't know her whereabouts, but hopefully she is still alive and well." Olga replied, showing concern for this Mistiora.
'.... I have only watched the 6 episode low quality anime, which begs me to differ: where can I find her?'
That question may remain unanswered for a long while, but for now, it was of little importance to him.
The two of them slept together with the baby and Chloe so the next day will come, where he will begin to manage his growing kingdom.
