Chapter 59: Power couple of the year

"Immediately after this, Emmaline's place to audition was held," Priscilla announced to the sound of growing murmurs. 

"Tell the truth, Em," Priscilla fixed Emmaline with her red lips pulled into a smile, "You sent your boytoy to do your work while stringing Ashton Wright along!"

Wait, what?

Emmaline blinked, trying to make sense of the sentence. 

"Excuse me?" She tried to clarify.

"You're cheating!" Priscilla slammed her hand down, "On Ashton Wright!"

The murmurs had turned into full blown talking now. 

Everyone was abuzz. 

Emmaline was being accused of cheating on Ashton with herself?

"This is old news," She scoffed and the host looked at her as if she just told him that the world was going to have one Christmas a month instead of annually. 

"Haven't you read the tabloids?" Emmaline tilted her head and leaned back in her chair, not at all showing that her heart was pounding.
