Chapter 350: Injuries

The impact of the Great Flygon's Dragon Rush created a massive crater instantly.
After precisely striking Shiftry, the Great Flygon swiftly ascended into the sky and released a Flamethrower toward the still smoky crater below.
While the Great Flygon wasn't skilled in special attacks, the power of its flames, combined with Shiftry' Sunny Day boost, made them formidable.
The scorching flames dispersed the lingering smoke, revealing a battered Shiftry emerging from the crater, covered in soot and burn marks.
Did it just dig its own grave?
However, being a pseudo-Elite, even after consecutive hits from Dragon Rush and a Flamethrower, Shiftry remained standing.
"Great Flygon, use Rock Slide!" Yuga believed that the best way to deal with Shiftry, a Pokémon with exceptional close combat abilities, was to keep it at a distance.
After all, who could fly like them?
With Yuga's command, several boulders appeared in mid-air above Shiftry and rained down on it.
Shiftry, extending the green leaf-like appendages on its hands, rapidly elongated them, transforming them into sharp blades that sliced through the descending boulders, reducing them to fragments without causing any harm.

On the other side, due to the difference in strength, both Absol and Florges found themselves in jeopardy.

Motohara, who was directing Shiftry to deal with the Great Flygon, couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Exploud defeated. He even forgot to give orders to Shiftry in his astonishment.
Taking advantage of Motohara's momentary lapse, Yuga said to the Great Flygon, "Great Flygon, Dragon Rush!"
Hearing this, the Great Flygon folded its wings in mid-air and, with an unstoppable momentum, dove towards the now-vulnerable Shiftry. Its speed left Shiftry with no chance to escape.
Regaining his composure, Motohara saw that Shiftry was undoubtedly about to be defeated. He immediately ordered Shiftry, "Shiftry, use Explosion!"
Yuga had never expected that the Shiftry before him could perform Explosion, and he had no time to react.
Shiftry triggered a self-destructive explosion that generated a thick cloud of smoke, engulfing the approaching Great Flygon and Yuga, who wasn't far away.
