Chapter 19: Careless Sensei
me- yet. I trotted back to the mansion in earnest to begin my hell's training, but as I arrived there I wasn't that shocked to see that I was the last to arrive but was shocked when he said that I should wait for him to call me.
He said that in four hours I would begin my own training, which was 3 pm. I rested on the couch in the sitting room and then slept of because I was exhausted from carrying a milk carton for 6 hours without rest.

After I had some rest, it was about 2 pm. And I was not about to sit idly and wait so I performed some basic Normaal drills. There is a reason I stressed the normal though.
Pushups, sit ups, squats and some laps around the mansion. After that I retired to looking at my stats until it was 3 pm. Did I mention that I had to run just to get to see the number on the city clock anytime I go to sleep!
I ran into the dojo at full throttle but Mr. Richards caught me like I was a piece of paper. I was shocked at how I wasn't thinking I was hallucinating and how this isn't his full power.
'I bet his full power will be super amazing to watch' I thought. And then as if he read my mind he told me to sit down "I am about to show you what a martial artist can do with enough training. Keep your eyes glued to me boy" He said before disappearing before my very eyes.
'No shit! This is the real deal. I can't even use my little skill in mana tracking to locate him' I exclaimed in my mind.
"That is if you can" He said. After two seconds he came back with a cup of tea. "Thirsty?" He asked. I took the cup in awe.
"If I didn't know any better, I would say you're a magician" I said. He face was disgruntled at that comment.
"Magician! Do not compare me to those people who use mana to accomplish trivial tasks. A single martial artist is greater than all of the magicians in the world" He exploded.
'Wow, this guy is so touchy. I am the hero of magic he was addressing kindly. I would think he was forced now'
He quickly recovered and then said. "Now that you have seen what can be accomplished through hard work, determination, sweat, tears and bitter times. You can now begin your first course of training, lifting weights and then you practice basic kicks."
He went deeper into the dojo ad came out with a large metal pipe. It was like 2 meters in length, but was also quite bit in width and I can bet we can't get started on the density.
"Your first exercise will be lifting this with two hands" He said, "Your training begins now" He was about going when he stopped and turned to look at me "And remember, I am always watching you"
He then left the vicinity and went in some random direction I did not care to find out, I then tried picking it up.
But that was impossible with my current strength unless I use legs.
'And then there is the problem that if I fall my member goes bye-bye. So we stick to two hands and hopefully the most important part of the body will not die on me'
'Then there is this weights I hear about'
I first had to go and do some basic training. So I went deeper into the dojo and was surprised at what I saw: Hoola hoops, recovery and healing crystals (With nametags attached of course) and other crazy items mages would likely use instead of martial arts.
But then there is also this popular adage that says "If you can't beat them you join them" SO I guess he doesn't want his guys to be lacking in areas mages aren't, but they should not the lacking in places mages are.
It was at that moment I saw a floating red crystal in the deepest depths of there, it was almost as if it was begging me to touch it.
"When something is begging you to touch it, don't touch it. It probably means something bad, like maybe it is part of the reason martial artists are declining in this world"
I then picked up a very heavy but I could still carry it metal pipe. Since it was exactly what I would be able to but still have trouble carrying item.
It was the perfect item to use, since instead of giving me something I can do and then giving me something I can't do is very irresponsible. I will not kill myself because of martial arts, because if I die another hero of magic will just be incarnated and I'll be in heaven.
That is probably if I am a saint, but let's be serious. I am so far from sainthood! I don't know though.
I dragged the pipe out of the depths and brought it with me to the place I was training.
I then began to do what normal people do with weights. Exercise with them of course, this was the correct way of exercising.
ARRGH
Not trying to kill yourself because you want to learn the way.
ARRGH
The pressure I feel is enough to make me retire.
ARRGH
I have to shout anytime I raise the pipe up for training.
ARRGH

I had finished the first part of my training, not the actual part. But then every great man start from a child, so I will have to make it through the hard times to make it to the top.
And the fact that there are no potions that help boost your training effectiveness pisses me off!
Because not many people practice martial arts. I don't get it.
I wonder what my teacher is doing, sitting down and eating bread and tea?
Or he should come and watch me and see how I do things and how he should take more time in picking weights for his students as what he is doing can lead to premature death.
SIGH
The effect of my training will not show until tomorrow, even in a fantasy world the limits of the old world till affects humans so there is no point in trying to chande it.
The only way to achieve true growth is by striving to be the best.
And that is what I will do to the very end.
