Chapter 7: Chapter 7 - Merlin? Sui Yin? (Edited)
Gon turns his gaze to the cage, and he starts to walk to it. With his strength in this world, he easily tore open the cage. As he got closer, he could see the woman more clearly.
She wore a sleek, black one-piece dress that contrasted sharply with her milky white skin. Her long raven-black hair fell till her back.
Feeling Gon's presence, her amber eyes regain clarity. Her rosy lips start moving slowly, her tone soft. "Free me, then I will help you kill them all."
Seeing her attractive face, with an hourglass body. Gon gulped.
As a healthy young teenager, his hormones are high now; looking at the beauty in front of him, he cannot help but be dazed, mesmerized by her beauty.
The woman called Gon's once more, awakening Gon's from his daze. He shook his head, realizing it was not the time for this. He then tries to break the chain that bound her.
He grips the chain with both hands and tries to yank it off. But to his surprise, even with his strength, it only created a small crack.
Gon then starts looking at the chain carefully; he realizes the chain has some intricate carving, reminding him of the formation he had seen in Manhwa and Donghua.
He then remembers a formation could be disrupted if part of it is missing. Gon uses his finger to trace over and erase each engraved character.
As he did, the chain began to glow, and with the last formation disrupted, the formation finally shattered.
The Lady of the Lake cannot believe what she sees, "How is this possible? How could you understand formations?"
Gon, instead, feels puzzled. Isn't this just a book? He then clarified with System.
'System, isn't this just a book? I've heard her talk about different worlds and her desire to return to her realm. It sounds like she's from a cultivation world.'

'Tch, fucking System?'
Gon then shattered another chain, leaving only one more, but suddenly, a red-bordered warning appeared:
[Warning, infraction don't curse at the system. Two more will give you punishment.]
'What kind of punishment?'
[You can try to find out. It will feel better than our first meeting.]
Gon shivered; he still remembered the pain he had felt. It was just a few hours ago. He decided to put this behind him. With one last effort, the final chain snapped.
CRACK!
He then looked at the woman he had just freed. "Are you Merlin?
She gazed deeply into his black eyes. "Yes, I am Merlin. You have saved me today, and for that, I owe you my life."
The aura around her began to shift, growing intense. Gon felt as if he was inside of a sea, feeling pressured by the ocean.
Merlin began to float, her form rising gracefully above the ground. Her amber eyes started glowing blue as they flickered with rage.
"By the ancient forces of air and sea,
Summon now the storm in thee.
With a crackle, a rumble, a roar so grand,
Bring forth the lightning upon this land!"
"Thunderstorm"
As she finished her chant, the once-clear skies over the palace darkened.
Colossal, swirling clouds formed, blocking out the sun, and soon after, violent streaks of lightning descended, accompanied by the deafening sounds of thunder.
Boom! BOOM!
Each bolt struck with precision and fury, causing fires and wreaking havoc. With every boom, dozens of the palace's soldiers were burned to a crisp.
Gon's eyes widened in shock, witnessing the destruction. A heavy sensation gripped his heart; he felt frustrated and sad with what she had done. "Merlin, Stop this at once!"
Merlin turned her gaze to him, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "I didn't think you were the sentimental type."
Gon put his hand clenched into his chest, his voice screaming, "That's my hard-earned property! You're destroying it! If you're going to eliminate them, at least do it without ruining everything!"
Suddenly realizing her oversight, Merlin said apologetically, "Oooh, I am sorry."
Before any more could be said, icy projectiles sliced through the air, narrowly missing them.
They both redirected their attention to see the Lady of the Lake flying nearby, brandishing a sword of pure crystal. Her face twisted with fury and desperation.
"You've jeopardized everything! I need them to return to my world. What have you done?!"
"Are you lady of the lake? The Qillin maid?? Return what you stole, and we can stop this fight."
The woman in blue robes narrowed her eyes, "Call me Sui Yin. Fine, you can take it back. It's on the palace vault, but you must help me return to my world in exchange,"
Merlin's gaze blazed with anger as she summoned a swirling ball of fire in her hand, directing it at Sui Yin. "Fuck you bitch, return home?? Give Escanor's life back to me first!"
She then launched a fireball at Sui Yin. The fire streaked through the air.
Sui Yin quickly creates an ice shield to block it. BOOM!!!
The fireball exploded, and the ice shield started cracking.
Seeing this, Merlin began throwing a barrage of fireballs, wanting nothing more than to kill her.
Sui Yin enhanced her defense by adding more layers of ice. Looking at the shield keep on cracking apart, she started panicking. "I did not kill Escanor!"
"Not you. It was Arthur who killed him in battle, but he is under your control."
BOOM! CRACK!
The attack continued, and Merlin kept bombarding her with the fireball.
"My spell only makes them loyal to me. What they choose to do outside of my command is their own decision."
"I never ordered him to kill Escanor; I only told him to change the city's appearance and to summon warriors from other worlds."
Merlin paused her assault, her hands gathering an even more potent surge of energy.
The fireball expanded from the size of a basketball and quickly grew to the size of a motorcycle. "Like I can believe what bitch like you say! Had you not drugged my drink, you won't be able to capture me."
Gon could feel the strength of her spell; She knew if Merlin threw it, the palace would be destroyed to ash. "Merlin! I told you not to damage my property! Take your fight outside!"
Merlin still feels indebted to Gon, so she listens to him. "Fine, Let's settle this outside, bitch."
Gon then remembers his main quest is to get Excalibur; she then looks at Sui Yin, "Hand over Excalibur to me, and I'll help you find a way back to your world."
But Sui Yin doesn't understand what he means. "What do you mean by 'Excalibur'?"
Hearing the word "Excalibur," Merlin comes to a realization. But she wasn't sure if that was what Gon was looking for.
Seeing Sui Yin also didn't know, he turned his gaze to Merlin." You know where the Excalibur is?"
Merlin gently floated down beside Gon, her cheeks turning red as she felt flustered. "You're looking for my Excalibur?".
Gon nodded, "Yes, the one Arthur took from Escanor. Oh, and before I forget, from now on, you're the queen of Camelot. Since I defeated Arthur, his kingdom is rightfully mine, and I've chosen you as its queen."
