Chapter 3: A Good Day

I yawned as I fixed my hair and got prepared for classes. I only had one class for the day which was an English course. I wasn't too keen on English mainly because most English teachers are bland and boring. I was hoping that the class I would be with would make up for the bland Professor we were probably going to get.
"Another day, another number to obtain!~ Since Isabella is currently unavailable for now, we can see if you can get a second girl to get those digits from~" Rhea smiled.
"Right. Let's go." I said and walked off.
I grabbed my phone off the nightstand then grabbed my backpack and left the room. Rhea followed behind and held her arms. We left my apartment and began to make our way to the campus.
"So about your BLS." Rhea started.
"BLS?" I asked. "Basic Life Support?"
"No, the Black Lust System." Rhea said as she walked next to me.
"Why is it even called Black Lust System?" I asked.
Rhea shrugged. "I didn't make the System. I'm just your companion who provided it to you. Anyway, as you know you have your traits and there are like over 638 traits of a human being. Only 234 are the best traits for you to learn."
"So what about my attributes? Do those count as traits as well?" I asked.
"In a sense yes. However only a few traits actually matter to you personally. As I've explained yesterday, Strength, Charisma, Endurance, Intelligence, Sexual Skills, and Looks are the main important traits that you need to master. You can actually compact many traits into these six traits...some positive, some negative, some neutral." Rhea explained.
"Let me get some examples so I'll know what to avoid." I said and looked at Rhea.
Rhea crossed her arms and looked at the ground. "Strength. A Positive Trait of Strength is something along the lines of Athletic or Courageous. A Neutral Trait of Strength is something like Aggressive or Tough. A Negative Trait of Strength is like Brutal or Destructive. There's a lot that goes into things like this."
"Strategy. I feel like I can manage this as it's easy to feel out another person based off the kind of energy they send off. Just by matching their energy...no because there are negative people in this world and only matching them will only fuel the flame more." I said.
"Yeah, but sometimes having a negative aspect of a trait isn't always bad. You're a very smart guy. You managed to get Isabella's number with the help of the system but it was your words that managed it. However it's only just the start." Rhea said.
We reached the campus and I watched Rhea walk off. She became invisible to everyone else and followed me to the courtyard.

I had gotten my breakfast from Starbucks which included a pastry item and a medium caramel iced coffee then sat outside at a table near the fountain. It offered a cool setting which felt good as the summer heat was really kicking in this August.
As I enjoyed my breakfast and waiting for 11:00 AM to arrive, I was scrolling through my socials and heard my phone beep. I looked up and noticed the system communicating with me.

I looked around and noticed the distance getting shorter until I spotted a woman with a group of her friends.
"You can technically get all of them, but I see you have your eyes on the leader huh..~" Rhea asked and held my shoulders. "It's time to test your skills. Your friends aren't here right now."
The woman I had eyes on had neck length hair that was dyed pink and blue with a hair antenna, she wore magenta eye contacts, and had ivory skin. She had a slender physique, curved hips, and large breasts. She wore a white front laced crop top, a white bra, blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes. She wore a white collar around her neck and wore two bracelets, one on each wrist.
"In this scenario, it's incredibly difficult to go up to her with her friends there with her. She's gonna have a huge ego boost because of that. With your looks being a solid seven out of ten, your Charisma is gonna have to do all the work." Rhea said.

I carefully weighed my options. If I played it smart, I wouldn't lose out on getting her to talk to her. I would just need the perfect opportunity. If I went straight into it head first, I would feel confident and the worst she can say is no and probably laugh at me. If I didn't pursue her, I'd be a pussy and would probably have Kofi and Adam laughing at me. I couldn't let them down especially after how I got Isabella's number.
After a short time contemplating it, I stood up and went straight for her. I needed the perfect pick up line, something that didn't scream awkward or unattractive. As I looked at the woman, I could immediately tell she's the type of woman who would absolutely eat up compliments to boost her ego and pride even more.
I walked toward them. "Hey how are y'all?"
"We're good." The leader of the group said and looked at me.
"That's good." I said and smiled then walked by them. "You're fine as hell. That's all."

The leader of the group watched me and looked at her friends. They looked at her and began to gossip.
"He's a solid six. You get compliments like that all the time." One of the women said.
"I know, but it felt nice because he personally said I look good. And give him more credit, he's alright in his own right." The leader said.
"Girl, you're really gonna try to fish compliments from some five and below guy? You can do much better." Another woman said.
"Think about it, if I attract him enough...I can use him to get what I want from him. What's he gonna do about it? No one can deny my beauty~" The leader giggled.
Rhea watched the group and began to think. 'I never accounted for the fact she's manipulative...I could tell Kaden, but I want to see how this actually plays out because this is an interesting turn of events...'
{Time: 10:50 AM}
I walked into my class and sat down in a top row seat then stretched. I sighed softly and checked my phone and noticed a text from Isabella.
[Isabella: Lunch at 1 PM today at Canes?]
I smiled at the message and texted her back.
[Me: Yeah, I'm down.]

I smiled at my phone and noticed the classroom door opening and noticed the same woman I encountered at the Courtyard was in my class. The woman noticed me and smiled then hurried over to me and sat beside me.
"Whoa there. One compliment and you're already excited to see me again?" I said and chuckled.
"Well, I've gotta say you were mysterious with it. You just complimented me and walked off without waiting for me to respond." The woman said.
"That's how I roll...I don't want just anyone being able to read my intentions.." I chuckled.

The woman smirked at me and crossed her arms. "You've got quite the confidence. I like that about you already. My name is Chloe by the way."
"Kaden." I answered.
"Here give me your phone." Chloe said.
I looked at Chloe and noticed her doing the gimme hand gesture. I chuckled and placed my phone in her hand. "Alright."
Chloe looked at my phone and began to type in her number then handed back my phone. "I like you, definitely call me sometime..~"

'Well that was easy, but it ain't over just yet...Kaden watch her closely. It will save you the headache in the long run.' Rhea thought to herself.
The other students had finally made it to the class and soon after the Professor walked in. My phone beeped and I grunted. I looked at my phone.

I looked ahead and gauged how faw away I was from the woman in question and came to the realization this classroom's at least 30 by 30 feet meaning the woman in question was the Professor herself.
The Professor was a woman with a thin, curvaceous body with moderately sized breasts. She had light, creamy skin and green eyes. She had light brown hair styled into a single bun, and wore red framed glasses. She wore a white button up shirt tucked inside her black fitted skirt, dark colored stockings, and black heels.
"DAMN! Okay, I didn't realize professors were also bad as hell like this." Rhea said. "She could teach me a lesson or two."
"Sorry I'm late, just ran into a bit of traffic...but we can now start the class. My name is Janet Magnolia. You can call me Janet, Miss Magnolia, anything as long as it's respectful." Janet said.

I rose my hand and Janet pointed at me. "Can we call you hot?"
"Whoo! Now that's what we like to see!" Rhea cheered.

The class chuckled at my comment and Janet pushed her glasses up then let out a soft chuckle.
"As long as you don't push boundaries, I don't care. Since you have jokes though, stand up and start off the ice breaker for us." Janet said.
I stood up and placed my hands in my pockets. "Hello, Class. My name's Kaden. I'm 18 years old and I'm majoring in Psychology."
Janet nodded and held her arms and leaned against the desk. "Nice to meet you, Lover Boy. How about you next to him."
Chloe stood up and flipped her hair. "The name's Chloe Bell~ I know most of you know me from the Summer City Dance Team and my appearance in the hit TV Show, Hot Shot Idols~"
"Mmm, I do remember seeing you. Congratulations in that. I hope to see you do big things in the future." Janet said.
The rest of the class began to join in on the ice breakers and from there, Janet basically went over the syllabus. We didn't need much of anything for her class other than braincells and a brain since everything was open note in her class. She was a pretty chill Professor who didn't really care what we did, as long as we passed her class she was alright with us just walking out whenever we wanted.
{Time: 12:30 PM}
"Alright, that's all for the day. On Thursday, we'll start up on our first lesson. It's quite easy so no need to panic." Janet said.
Everyone began to pack up and got up to leave the class. I made my way out of the class and looked at Janet. She slightly looked at me and shook her head with a smile. I chuckled softly and left her classroom.
"Alright, let's go meet up with Isa—"
"Kaden hold on!" Chloe said and hurried over to me.
I looked at Chloe. "What's up?"
"Take me to lunch with you." Chloe said.
