Chapter 3: The Plot Begins
{A.N//The story finally begins in this chapter//}
I knew it would be a couple of days before Wu comes back with Kai so I decided to start a project that I put of because of my training but now that I have free time I'll get right to it, if you're wondering what I'm gonna do, I'm forging a sword cause I don't won't to be left behind with a weak weapon while they get weapons of the first spinjitzu master. I remember I got a few perks from what was written on the scroll I read when I first woke up I am half dragon, which is quiet good by itself but I also have the potential to become a god of craft and forging, you know what this means right... I have the power to create weapon that can kill/injure gods, but what's talent if you don't use it, so I quickly got to start to work luckily there's a forge in the monastery probably built by Lloyd's grandpa it's okay for now but when I want to make new weapons I need to make a better more personalized forge.
I prepared the forge room... And when I mean I, I mean I used Cole, Zane and Jay as free manual labor although there were complaints about why I was not doing something the ended as quickly a they started since I black... *cough**cough* persuaded them to continue working. While Zane and the other set up the forge I was looking for metal to use to create my sword needed it to be strong so I set on a gold-titanium alloy since it currently the strongest metal in the world.. for now, any way as I was climbing up the stairs, I remembered when I first climbed up them and how much energy it took the I look at myself now, so many times stronger than before... I was brought out of my memories by a scratchy feeling at the back of my throat, at first I ignored it thinking it will eventually go away, boy was I wrong, I just kept getting worse and my mouth started to become hotter and hotter until I couldn't hold it in any more, I instinctually opened my mouth and the scene before me was one I never expected, a deep blue flame with what looked like a nebula inside erupted from my mouth, I was mesmerized with its look it was only when it stopped was when I was brought back to reality.
"I JUST BREATHED FIRE LIKE A FLIPPING DRAGON" I thought excitedly. My dragon blood line had finally awaked
"It seems that it's infused with the power of space" I said looking at the space in front of me that looked as if it was burnt and is slowly healing itself
I tried to make a flame again focusing on what I felt earlier trying to hold back the spatial element as much as I could but I knew it was useless the element is part of my self both human and draconic so I know my flames would still inherently contain the element of space, as I released the flame again it was still blue but not as dense as it was in the first burst of flame, even though as a dragon(even part) I could tell that the flame was HOT!
"Looks like I have a flame to forge with"
It was always a worry for me if the flame will be strong enough to melt the titanium and gold because compared to my previous world their melting point is many times higher and special machinery which we neither have nor can we afford to have so the dragon breath is a welcome surprise... anyway enough of my rambling. I continued to go up the stairs and quickly went to the forge room, and I've got to say they really arranged the room really good for me to use.
I lit the furnace with my dragon flame and removed the raw gold and titanium ore I had found in a mine 2 miles from my backpack I first put the titanium in the upperparts of the furnace since it had the higher melting point, a few minutes later the titanium ore melted in the ingot cast I put below it, I picked the gold ore as well and did the same as I did with the titanium but this process was shorter than with the titanium. When both metals were liquid in the cast I pulled the out and poured them in a larger cast and mixed them, while I waited for the mixture of metals to cool down I prepped the anvil and the hammer. After a couple of hours the liquid mixture cooled down and became an ingot I put it back in the furnace to heat it up again and bring it to the anvil to hit out all the impurities and air bubbles, it took me a about 5 hours with this process and the ingot became smaller than it usually was, as they say quality over quantity, anyway I started hammering at the ingot and it slowly started to take the shape of a katana, it took me 8 hours to shape my blade, it was understandable since it was the first time I forged in both lives, when I put the finished blade into a water basin to cool I started to make the hilt of the sword from a design I already had in my head I used the leftover gold to make the design's on the hilt and use stencils to make patterns.
After countless hour's of work my sword was complete, I had opened the door and noticed it was around noon, but I saw a surprising scene before me a teen with spikey hair almost like that of a saiyan's hair in red running across the obstacle course constantly missing the timings getting hit over and over again, I rubbed my eyes making sure I was not hallucinating but nothing changed.
"Wasn't it supposed to two day before they got here" I thought
"Either they were faster than the cannon"
"Or"
"I worked on my sword for two day's straight"
"OOOOFFF"
"Again"
I was brought out of my thoughts when Kai had fallen of a wooden pole hard and Wu asking him to repeat. I ignored them to go to my room to take a bath and rest.
