Chapter 2: unexpected change: part 2
"I'm truly sorry boss I....I..." Leslie tried making an excuse but honestly she didn't have any, the edge of her boss eyebrow raised waiting for whatever she had to say, seeing that no words were coming out she sat back on her seat giving Leslie a stern glare "it seems this time around you have no excuses...which is unusual" Leslie eyes were glued to the ground, she could not bring herself to look at her boss "Leslie Anderson" Leslie looked up slowly as her name rolled out of her boss's mouth, she saw it, the pure hatred in her boss's eye she couldn't guess why her boss disliked her but her hatred wasn't helping at all.
"the next time this happens I will make sure you don't complete your internship here...now leave my office" turning around, she left the office "phew finally, I almost thought she was gonna shoot me lasers with her death glares" Leslie exhaled wiping an invisible sweat from her forehead, walking into her office she plumped on her seat, her office wasn't too big but as always it was just right for her though it was right next to her boss's office, she couldn't change it so she didn't really bother herself
raising her head to the ceiling, she imagined her boss with red horns poking at the sides of her head and a tail "such an ugly lady" she said scowling
"who's ugly.." startled, Leslie sat up looking at the source of the voice "Jake didn't any one teach you to knock" Leslie said glaring at him Jake stared at her amused "I did but you didn't hear it".
Leslie stared at him suspiciously "so what do you want" she asked raising her well curved eyebrows "I wanted to check up on you and see how you're doing, you had a little too much to drink last night"
"and who's fault was that" Leslie glared at him accusingly Jake stared at her surprised "are you blaming me for you getting drunk" j
Jake asked.
"off course I am.... you were supposed to stop me when it was getting too much, you know I cant really control how much I drink" Leslie snapped back
jake stared at her, she won the argument she always does that's one thing she was really good at heaving a sigh "I am sorry" Jake said looking down on her desk.
Leslie cocked her head to the side she wanted to laugh "it's okay.....is that all you came for" she asked, Jake looked up "no umm...I was asked to give you this to redesign its a cover for the new movie" jake said handing her a folder, taking it from his hand she looked back at him "any other thing" she asked expectantly "no" Jake shook his head Turning to the door "I'll be going first then" he said walking towards the door.
Leslie watched as he headed for the door, something wasn't right why did she feel like..."wait jake!" she called, stopping him from leaving the room jake turned to her "yes leslie" Jake answered "about last night,do you have any idea what happened to my hair?" she asked deeply hoping she would get a good answer, Jake stared at her hair for sometime "nope...I don't know" jake answered "nobody dyed my hair while I was drunk?" she asked leaning forward, Jake thought about it " nope...no one could even come close to you yesterday, your always violent when drunk" Leslie slumped back in disappointment, she forgot that part 'what is she going to do now' "the colour looks great on you" Jake complimented, snapping Leslie from her thoughts "but if you don't like it you can just dye it to black" he suggested, Leslie nodded slowly "thanks" Jake nodded a small smile formed on his lips, gripping the door he left the office.
finally alone, she slammed her head on her desk from frustration, raising her head she heaved a deep sigh "well I'll just dye it then" she said sadly, she really wanted to make the bastard pay for the unwanted dye, even if the person wanted to dye her hair, blue or purple would have been a great colour, looking at her desk she picked up the folder and began to work.
