Chapter 12: DEITY
She slowly opened her eyes; her head was throbbing so badly.
When her eyes were completely opened, she saw Elon standing in front of the window.
She touches her head and slowly moves.
Elon immediately walked close to her when he noticed her moving.
"Are you hungry?" She looked away. Why does she feel weird in her heart? She was supposed to be mad or something. She must not forget why she's in here.
"Just right..." But she can't help but can't stay mad at him. He doesn't do anything bad to her; the only thing with which she didn't agree was to be married to him.
"I'll tell Mana to bring you food." She just nodded and continued to sit.
"Does your head hurt?"
"Yeah, I've been hit at the wall!" She saw how Prince Elon resisted his laugh.
She weakly hit his arm.
"What's funny?" She rolled her eyes and drove him away.
"For so many years, this was the first time I've met such a funny girl." She looked at him, and he let out a chuckle.
Her heart beat so fast, she must admit. Prince Elon is handsome!
She needs to remind herself that Prince Elon is a vampire; he was dangerous. She didn't know what he was thinking; she must keep her heart safe!
"Well, I'm glad that no one like me in my past lives. I'm still unique." Prince Elon sat in her bed, staring at her, like she was the most unique girl he met in his entire life.
"Maybe, just because you're the first human who lives here." She rolled her eyes. So he's against to what she said?
"Hmm, I heard last time from other vampires that 'history repeats itself'. Maybe I'm not the first human that lives here; they know something, I guess." Elton looked away; his eyes changed color. But when he looked at her again, it was the usual color. Maybe she's imagining things.
"She's not a human, she's a deity." Her curiosity grew because of what he said; he keeps on saying 'deity' yet she doesn't receive the right explanation. Who is the deity? Who is she?
And why did the vampires say 'history repeats itself' when the fact is it's not a human but a deity!
"Then, who is she?"
"We don't have to talk about her."
"Is she your ex?" Elton raised his eyebrows, asking what she meant.
"She's not." She pouted.
"Why do you look so affected? There's something in you that makes me think she's a big part of your life." She won't stop bothering him until she knows everything about that deity.
"She's a big part of my life, but let's not talk about that." She was ready to ask another one when he suddenly spoke again. "And stop pouting; your lips aren't healed yet. Don't let me reach that."
"How can you be so perverted? I'm just asking here!" Prince Elon moved fast; their faces almost touched, so she bent a little.
"What's wrong with kissing my future wife?" She can feel his breath in her face; they were so close that she felt shy.
"Can you move away? You're too close; I can't breathe in this closeness. And for your information, future wife! Not your wife. You still don't have the right to kiss me!" She pushed him away, but it's no use; it's like she's pushing a wall!
"Hmm, I thought you didn't want to marry me?" He didn't move away; he's so comfortable in their position.
"Do I have a choice? Can you just move away, so I can breathe properly? You're invading my personal space!" She was against the headboard of her bed!
"You can still breathe even though my lips are on your lips." Her eyes widened as she hit Elon's arm.
"I'm not feeling well, Elton. Move away!" Instead of moving away, Elton just smirked and moved closer. She refrains from breathing; he was too close!
"That's the first time you call my name. I love that." She saw how Elton looked at her lips; he closed her mouth and pushed him away.
"Too bad, I'm a vampire, so I'm stronger than you." The next thing she knew, Elon was owning her lips again for the third time!
She tried to push him again, but it's no use; she's just wasting her only strength.
Prince Elon's hand pressed her body towards him, like what she felt earlier—Elon's body was getting warmer. She thought it was just her hallucinations, but she really does feel how Elon's body temperature changes every time their lips touch.
She closed her eyes when she couldn't fight the urge to do so; she felt sleepy so suddenly. His lips were moving, so her lips followed. Elon's other hand is touching her hair, making her feel comfortable.
She wasn't sure why she didn't stop him; maybe she liked the kiss? Maybe she's enjoying it?
No! She must not enjoy it! He was her enemy; he would not do good to her. He will just take advantage of her weakness!
"Ehem!" She was so shocked that she pushed Elon away, like earlier. He didn't move a bit. He just stopped kissing her but was still looking at her intently.
She was so shy to look at who entered her room; thankfully, Elon's muscular body was her shield, so the person or vampire who entered didn't see how red her face was.
Elon just looked at her with amusement in his eyes.
"What do you want?" Elon faces the suspect, who stops their unexplainable scene.
"Nice greeting, Elon!" The man happily said.
She was curious, so she peeked and saw a man standing straight, wearing formal attire.
Where is he going? To a burial?
The man was tall, but she guesses he was smaller than Elon. He was muscular too; it was obvious in his suit. His hair was fixed and looked clean. In short, he looks handsome with a soft aura.
"Hi, our lady. Look gorgeous, huh? Can't blame Elon for asking you to marry him immediately."
