The purpose of the prison on Paradise Island became clear: to confine all heroes, ensuring a perpetual stream of crises for the goddess of destruction to consume!
Diana believed she had grasped The Batman Who Laughs's weakness, but he only laughed maniacally in response!
In the blink of an eye, he obscured the sole source of light akin to a bat and uttered in a chilling tone:
"So what if you know? I have my own agenda!"
At that moment, numerous spectators felt paralyzed by his words!
Indeed, The Batman Who Laughs would never bow to another; his sole master was himself!
At this juncture, the whispers of Laughter tantalized Diana's ears!
"Let us collaborate. Refrain from resistance, and I shall fashion an independent universe for you. Regardless of future events, it shall remain unaffected," it enticed.
"Of course, should you resist, I'll subject you and your companions to the cruelest torments!"
Observing Diana's conflicted expression, Laughing Maniac grinned:
"That look again, Diana. You can't outsmart me!"
"You dismantled the stealth fighter earlier and fashioned its remains into stealth armor, lurking in the shadows for an opportunity?" Diana expressed surprise, recognizing Batman's strategy for her!
Yet, in the next moment, Diana smirked:
"No, I am not Batman. I prioritize defense above all else!"
"I took another approach!" she proclaimed.
With that declaration, Diana wielded the enchanted chainsaw, now visible in the darkness!
In a heartbeat, the imperceptible chainsaw sliced through the unsuspecting laughter, ending it abruptly!
But what greeted us wasn't the maniacal laughter, but a pleasant chuckle. 🙂
"I told you... Diana. You can't rely on me..."
In the moment of The Batman Who Laughs's demise, Wally West, who stood nearby, felt his quantum powers inexplicably tremble!
