Chapter 4: Tag team (2)
The curse roared. Seem like previous intelligence had gone for its potential. Ray didn't know how the curse managed to raise this much strength in a short time.
But Hakari did. This was an advantage of being a proper student. In exchange for immense strength and growth, it sacrificed the rational and cursed technique. Hakari was kicked in the face but he only felt happiness.
' Good. I don't like the monster that much but with this thrill. I can ignore my picky habit. ' Blood was in front of him, Hakari stomped at the ground forming a crack.
He charged up the cursed energy. And rushed toward the curse.
Ray was stuck to the wall. He noticed his Bungee Gum was being a nuisance in the fight. He was burning cursed energy more due to this useless technique. ' I thought I created a versatile technique. '

His technique was good, it is just that the curse was getting faster and stronger. ' And my technique is created for combat against the human sorcerers. I never worried about curses because from what I have seen in the anime, future enemies will probably be humans. '

Hakari was in disbelief. " Seriously? "
Ray stopped his momentum by landing on the ground while using a Bungee Bum to the feet. He turned around ready to welcome a body.

Why is this thing alive?
Ray shot out the curse string and managed to stabilize the landing again. He rubbed his nose and looked at his hand. ' Blood. My right hand is damaged. But the worst thing was this. '
He grabbed his head. His brain was shaken by the earlier force. The curse was now at the same height as them.
It roared with anger. But Ray could see happiness in its tone. Hakari frowned at the new development happening in the curse. ' This energy was almost the same as Gojo. '
Ray shouted. " Don't you have any cursed technique? "
Hakari ignored Ray. The curse instantly arrived in front of him. ' Fast! '
Hakari lifted his leg and kicked at the head. The curse caught the attack. He quickly shifted the centre force and kicked with the free leg. It was caught as well. With two legs in the air, he lifted himself and slammed the lunches to the head.
Purple blood!
He smiled. " Great. No matter how strong you are. At least this blood tells me you are not invincible yet. "
The curse replied with a roar. Hakari covered his ears. The curse then ready to slam him to the ground.
Ray stepped on Hakari and kicked at the curse. He then aimed at the hand that was holding one of Hakari's legs with an uninjured hand. With a quick punch, the curse let loose its grip.
Hakari didn't let this chance and spun breaking another grip. Ray landed behind the curse.
He glanced at Hakari. The former noticed his plan and laughed.
" I feel it is getting dangerous. The best choice will be to run and call for help but as a gambler. " He smiled.
" I can't let this go. "
Ray smiled. " I can't understand you about being a gambler but one thing I know is I do not like this curse. "
Both attacked simultaneously.
Ray grinned while Hakari was laughing. Ray attacked again. His hands were moving and coming. He didn't how he was doing this kind of combo with an unknown person but it all felt just right.
As the pounding went on, the curse's strength was getting faded away.
" Why? Daddy? "
They both noticed that the rationale was coming back to the curse. ' Wasn't it a restriction? ' Ray was confused.
He asked because he was feeling like punching at the wall like usual. ' So even after sacrificing the rationale and potential for a burst strength. Another rationale appeared. '
No! This is not it.
It remembered.
Ray punched together with Hakari.
' I can win. '
' I can kill. '
The curse of innocence. It was the purest form of a curse. That is how the world views it. Because it was born from children. Their needs for love and care.
Jujutus sorcerers thought that kind of curse was weak. Their innocence was viewed as positive in the eyes of sorcerers.
It was wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
They were the cruellest emotions in this world. Innocence will make things more difficult to understand the world. At least the evilest person knew what he was doing.

Anger formed by suppressed talk and murmur of parents. This curse was born.

Ray and Hakari felt overwhelmed. It was not cursed energy that overwhelmed them, from the moment it laughed, the sheer chill appeared.
Now fully flesh intelligence was born.
" Call me Taiyo. " It spoke. The burst of cursed energy and off guard was enough to send both of them flying.
" I will shine like the sun for you. " Taiyo spoke as it emitted the chill. " Right now, I am feeling rebirth. Yes. Yes. "
