Chapter 17: Summer Flashback birthday – part 2
I wanted to just walk to Ken-san's house but my uncle said he would drive me there, so here I was In my uncle's car and he was teasing me non-stop about me going to a girl's birthday, I mean what's weird about me going a girls birthday party.
It was an agonizing 1 hr I think he was purposefully driving slowly and finally, after that 1hr I was in front of Ken Sans's house.
I exited the car and my uncle asked me from inside the car "Do you want me to pick you up"
"NO thanks, I will go home alone" was what I answered emphasizing the word no.
He laughed and left, I was standing near the entrance of a very normal two-story house.
I was going to ring the calling bell but I suddenly sensed some presence outside the house, that troubling but just as I was thinking what to do I saw Oshima-san coming in full gear and said" So it's you, I was thinking just who was able to sense us no wonder it's you"
Then I understood what was going on, even though Touka-san may not talk like people with lots of authority do, she was still one of the most important in the country as she was the head of AGP.
I just talked to her about the house's security and concluded that it was very secure.
So I once again got ready to ring the calling bell but before that, I just looked at myself, I was wearing a shirt of black color with black pants and black hair with silver linings which were getting more prominent day by day.
I guess it's a side effect of being a half ghoul, and this time I did ring the bell, and ken –san opened the door and welcomed me in.
I entered and was surprised to see there were not that many people and by that I mean I could only see 6 people and I only knew two of them, one was Touka-san and the other was Asuka-san.
I walked over to them to say hi and talked to them when I asked "Where is Ichika I don't see her here and why are there so less people here "
Touka-san answered that she was in her room getting ready and why there were so few people because she didn't like crowds.
That bides the question of what am I doing here, as I only met her for a single time and just when I was ichika came down.
She wore a top revealing her shoulders and a pair of short pants.
Ok, she looked hot I had to admit, she came with another girl who seemed to be her friend, they came down and she started to talk to her mother.
So I just went in her direction to give the gift and I was a little nervous not because she was a woman but because I did not know her that well.
She was sitting on the sofa so I just said "Happy birthday day ichika-san" and gave her the gift.
She said thank you with a smile and took a san left saying "Why don't you introduce yourself to each other"
I just sat on the side sofa instead of ichika the girl had a pretty face with a slender body and blonde hair.
She looked like she had a very bubble personality so she asked me "What's your name and what's your relation with ichika"
"My name is Akuma and I work part-time in Ichika's sans dad I know her mom as my mom is her friend"
She seemed very interesting in talking to me not in a weird way she was like a super extrovert and Ichika San quite looked like she had a very introverted personality she introduced herself as Hanami Shoji and she was Ichika's childhood friend and also her friend and also saying she was her only friend which ichika-san got embarrassed about.
I was like the middle person I did not have any problem talking to people and making friends but it was not like I actively seek making friends.
We talked about random stuff and it seemed ichika-san was also starting to talk more when conversing she suddenly asked me "Which school do you read"
I explained how I did not go to school but studied at home and took exams, she was very intrigued about that and said"
That's like my dream, to not have to go to school" Even ichika said that she would like to do that.
But I said "Though I will be joining high school next year"
She excitedly asked which school and I replied with a smile "It's GHT High". (Full form is Ghoul & Humans TOKYO High School; I know my naming sense sucks)
She got excited about them going to the same school as I already knew because Ken San had told me that his daughter goes to that school.
After that ichika cut her birthday cake and at the dinner table when we were going to have dinner Ken San said to me that he was happy Ichika got another friend as she is very shy with new people.
We had a very good dinner and after the dinner, I took my leave, and ichika and Hanami came to the door to say goodbye.
We exchanged numbers and I left, I just took the subway home and that's how the day came to an end.
(I am finally free to write as my exams are over but with this, I also have to deliver the very sad news that I might not be able to write from the 27th of October to mid-November as my test examination in school will start, I am sorry but if I don't do well in the exam I will be in a world of pain so I hope you guys can understand)
